Why is Lacy's name still mentioned?

I'm glad somebody else has asked this question, the guys a joke, completly over exposed and rated. I can remember reading one american website before the calzaghe fight, stating that left hook would dismantle joe inside 5 rounds, then become p4p king before 2008!! He can even take out manfredo! He lost to that vitali Tyspko in my opinion also, Vitali had much better work rates, and if that fight was any where else than lacys hometown then it could have easily been another Lact defeat

i think he deserves to be mentioned he fought the best and lost away from home, 1 big win could be all it takes to get him back on track.

 

Because he's a gatekeeper to bigger fights. Why wouldn't Taylor, Miranda, Pascal, Bute, Mundine, Inkin, Froch, Green and so on want to fight him? He's there for the taking.

 

i could never understand him being put in with a boxing southpaw after the Joe C fight. They should have put him with someone a bit more head on rather than another lefty
