Why is Lubin fighting Charlo?!?!?!

    He's fighting the weaker Charlo it's not that dangerous a fight

    Why not? I think it's great that there is a budding American prospect willing to be the underdog, willing to put his 0 on the line to secure a great fight for the fans. Jermell has great power and athleticism but is little more than an average technician really and is there to be outboxed. This has a very similar feel to the Spence/Brook fight IMO in that I rate Lubin as the better talent with the higher ceiling (like Spence) but I wasn't sure if Spence was ready for that fight and picked Brook to eek a close decision. I'm gonna have a bit more faith this time, if Lubin is confident in his own ability to take this fight so early in his career then I'm confident he'll get the result he wants. Lubin late TKO.

    the thing about this fight is that lubin is a southpaw. Charlo is used to sparring lara. Lubin is no lara. This fight is a tossup to me.
