Khan has fought 10 times the level of opposition he has, so have klitskcho(s) and yet they dont get half the respect he does. JCC jr has fought just about the same if not better level of competition and im not a big fan of his but to be honest if bute is classed as some sort of demi-god then i guess chavez is too.People actually claim that the super six was a waste of time because he wasnt in it despite the fact his last five fights consist of fighters with a combined 15 losses.

i could be wrong and he could be a truly great fighter.Imo he is a left hand with a bit of skill that is a good fighter but is getting extremely overrated. If you're gonna insult other fighters for fighting bums don't turn around and say "now if he fought lucian bute....."

    Feel free to disagree

Bute is a top 20 p4p fighter. Khan isn't, yet. Why would he be? Because he beat a shot to bits Barrera? Both Klitschko brothers are usually and rightfully ranked higher p4p than Bute. Disagree with what? The "Super" "Six" cannot legitimately crown the best SMW in the world when Bute wasn't invited. Get your facts straight and use your head when you try to build an argument!

I disagree and you just don't know what you're talking about. Nobody says Bute is a demi-god. The super six is not complete without him because he's one of the two best SMW. Take your time, learn about the division and you'll understand things.

As a matter of fact, everyone included in the S6, even Allan Green.. would likely have remained undefeated against Lucian Butes subpar opponents.

His rating is unjust to the real fighters at 168lbs who are doing the sport a favor by fighting eachother, whilst this meager bumslayer is content fighting left overs in Canada.

There is real concern about Lucians chin, and he's even moreso a hometown fighter than Andre Ward.

    Pac's last 5 fights(if you include Margarito) have a combined 16 losses.

Who on Lucians record can compete with Kotelnik and Malignaggis achievements?

18 losses and nearly all of them were world champions or beat world champions at one time and its fair to say they were all a million times better than the great jesse brinkley

This is one of your dumbest posts ever. Green has already lost to Miranda. Your theory goes down the drain. Ward has fought an injured Kessler, then Green and Bika. If you think it's better opposition than Bute's, you're laughable.

Andrade was top 5. Bika was a top 10. You can also look at all his resume, but you'd need to know something to undestand. That's not the case. We can see now that your post is just an excuse to ***** Bute. He must do something good to have haters like you starting threads on false premisses. Like Bute is a semi-god. That comes right out of your mind, not from any of Bute's fans.

Bute does not have a great resume' but anyone who watches the way he handles himself in the ring ought to be able to see that he's pretty damn good. If he were in the S6, I'd make him the favorite.

You contradicted yourself. Khan's last 5 opponents have a combined 16 losses, one more than the man you're implying has fought inferior competition by citing his last 5 fights.

Allan Green did lose to a much fresher Miranda than showed up for Bute, and lets not forget Edison was put on his ass, so should they fight today there is a very reasonable chance Allan would beat him, as Edison is shot to **** and has balooned up and down in weight since his Kelly Pavlik loss, and more importantly since getting blasted to bits by Arthur Abraham in a fight where he was on his door-step in front of all of his fans.
