We can question a lot of things about Khan, but I really believe that the guy has genuine heart. He always tries to get up when floored, and he always comes back, guns blazing. If anything he's too gutsy for his own good, because when Prescott floored him with a hard shot, Khan got back up and tried to slug it out with him, only to get caught again. Most other fighters would have backed off and shelled up.

I still think the Maidana beat down of Ortiz was worse.

Of course, that is merely a subjective rather than an objective observation.

Nevertheless, he did not take the punishment and triumph though, did he??

I'm not really sure what your point is. Khan can't take enough punishment to get to his quitting point. So he won't quit. He would have gone back for me against Prescott if the referee let him.

While Khan hasn't been subjected to the beating that Ortiz took, there is absolutely zero evidence that Khan lacks heart in the ring.

Dumb post. Did you actually watch the Maidana-Ortiz fight??

*****'d out? When you lace 'em up and face a guy like Maidana like Ortiz did, and get up off the deck after a vicious first round KO, then you can pass judgment on who did and didn't "***** out."

Otherwise, kindly do the "keyboard warrior" thing with someone else.

That's an issue of punch resistance and defence and not correlated with heart or determination at all.

When did I question Khan's heart? Rather, I was indirectly defending Ortiz against the allegation that he quit when Khan would not have.

Depends on your perspective, if Khan has a chandelier chin as people make out, taking flush shots from Prescott, still getting back up twice, can be considered quite triumphant. Not to add, that he was back in gym next day, helping train youngsters, and 3 fights later was world champion. Triumph.

Khan wouldn't have had the opportunity to quit.

Cheers for acknowledging what seems, at least to me, relatively obvious.

Again, don't assume I have questioned the kid's heart. I have not.

Allow me to reiterate: When did Khan morph into an extraordinarily elusive, defensive stalwart???

Against Khan, Maidana will just come swinging because of Khans chin hype. Since Khans coach has changed and Roach has come in hes made khan improve his D and get him to keep his hands up. So while Maidana is swinging like crazy Khan will easily counter and knock Maidana out. As its clear Maidana has a bad chin aswell and Khan is probably more powerful..

Has he avenged his loss to Prescott?

How many big punchers has he defeated in the wake of his loss to Prescott??

That's irrelevant, your point was Khan hadn't taken big punches and triumphed, I described the instances of triumph, post big punches.

Why do you keep asking for justification for a claim no-one has even approached making?
