Tapping into parts of the market that aren't saturated like the Latino segment. I'm no ***** but I do feel there is some truth to the stuff that people accuse Pac's camp of doing.

I might be new here but I have been watching boxing for about 20 years now and I have had my own business for the past 12 years. I can with most certainty tell you that the the reason that not only pacquiao but also floyd and no 1 and no 2 p4p is money. They are the two most marketable fighters out there. Don't get me wrong both have great talent and have had great accomplishments, most of them earlier in their respective careers, but as of late they both have taken the easiest but most profitable way to the top.

no. pacquiao drew with marquez once and beat him once. the judges scored the fight, not you. thats how it works.

He is a very good fighter, with great matchmakers(never fights other big punchers or fast fighters or slick fighters and promotion, being an action fighter doesnt hurt....He is humble, and I hate to say it, also becuase he isnt black or mexican

impressions are everything....he isnt as great as his fans make him out to be( who fights for a world title at a catchweight we have enough weight classes) or as bad as other fans think. he lies somewhere between

PBF is arguably as famous and profitable as Pac. Some would even say more.

    Pretty sure he is black.

ODLH was the old king. Pretty sure he is of Mexican origin.

I think what you meant to say is that he is Asian, which is rare in the sport - a P4P fighter of Asian descent. It is NOT about eh EXCLUSION of blacks or Mexicans. It is about the INCLUSION of Asians.
    Big difference.

    Cotto?

DLH who was supposed to be way to big for Pac?

Slick fighters? Get off this ****, seriously. What slick fighters out there are gonna beat Pac besides Floyd?

As far as great matchmaking goes your thinking of your own favorite fighter Floyd.

Your boy isn't as good as you make him out to be either.

get over what the truth.....Most the best boxers are black and mexican doesnt mean they were beloved....Pernell Whitaker, Roy Jones, and Floyd Mayweather were the best p4p fighters we had before Pac-Man and non of them were beloved. Actuallly more people watched them to see them lose and wait to say I told you so he wasnt that great anyway...why????Because they were arrogant black fighters...Ali wasnt beloved until he could barely talk as well.....thats why Pac-Man is the chosen one, he is the media's dream...a quiet humble guy

never said it had anything to do with the exclusion of blacks or mexicans...hell most of the best great fighters in recent years are black and mexican....everyone is so enamored with Pac-Man because he is humble and of another origin and ARum is a great promoter

Because his fame isn't based on him. His fame is based on Mayweather. Without Mayweather he is a NOBODY. This is why he won't fight him. After the fight he returns to his NOBODY status.

He was just another brawler until he took on ODLH and that only mattered because ODLH SD with Mayweather. The comparisons started and Manny became a sensation.

Pac was already p4p #1 and a 5 division world champion, 3 division lineal, before he beat Oscar.

Also, he had already been on the p4p top10 list for over 5 years.

I am not talking about his boxing accomplishments. He was solid there. I am talking about his fame and fortune. It is all due to Mayweather.

Don't believe it? Check his pre-ODLH fight purses.

Still don't believe it? Check his post-Hatton fight purse.

Like I said, he was a nobody until Mayweather became the wind beneath his wings. :deal
