Why is Manny's next fighting at the MGM and not outdoor stadium

Because the idea of a temporary outdoor stadium in Vegas when dealing with Pacquiao vs. Bradley is ridiculous beyond belief.

 

It doesn't make ANY sense to build a temporary stadium when you got 4 venues in Vegas that can host a fight.

You got Sam Boyd Stadium for UNLV football and Monster Truck Rallies. 24,000 seats, plus if you configure it to ground level that's an extra 7 thousand seats (guestimate)

Thomas and Mack Center 17,500 Plus 1-2000 seats on the floor.

MGM which gets a meager 16,500 at tops..

Then Mandalay Bay which is the worst out of all the venues. 14,000??

I've been told that Vegas could build a temporary stadium in the vacant Frontier lot.

The best venue for a fight of this magnitude is obviously Dallas Stadium. Let Mayweather bring his refs, judges whatever and his tests. Its the best venue for ALL fans of boxing.

It's an Arum excuse but you should also know then why a stadium COULD potentially create more profit, with only a Pac-Floyd fight

 

Arum said he was gonna "test it out" on Pac's next fight (Bradley).

 

Because there isn't as much hunger for a Bradley fight
