You have never met a single black person that is a fan of Marciano?

So what you are saying is that all blacks in your oppinion are racist. There are lots of white guys that are fans of Jermain Taylor, Spinks, Judah, Mosley etc. So whites apparently pick the fighter, while blacks pick the colour.

I think you need to just shut up before you spew more racist hate.

No matter how you analyze it, in today’s modern era of boxing with so many paper weights/alpha titles, you don’t necessarily fight the best there is in the opposition to reach the top, and even at the top, you don’t get to fight the best still in defense of you title so unless you are the unanimous P4P, your title is PS. I’d rather give my kudos to the old era boxers…

I can't give this **** anymore of my time at this point. Obviously a troll that has nothing better to do with his (maybe her?) time than to intentionally **** people off and not bring anything to the table as far as being an actual boxing fan. I do have to say that I did at least get a small amount of entertainment with the Dave Krieg comment. I lived in Seattle when he had his run with the 'Hawks and found him pathetic then and now. In fact for Dave Krieg to be your favorite football player of all time, then you obviously have a major mental problem.

Now that it occurs to me, this guy might be in the Seattle area if Randy Johnson (ex-Mariner) and Dave Krieg (ex-Seahawk) are two of his favorite athletes.

Hey Foreman Rules- where do you live???? I'm still in the Seattle area myself. Maybe we could meet up for a Black Panther meeting? How about a Nation of Islam/Farakhan rally?

moore was washed up? lol he was like 39-3 after he lost to rocky and won the light heavy title again

if you think rocky was a pile of crap it just shows you know dick about boxing. go watch some of his fights. he was a much better boxer than most know. good head movement, ablility to slip punches, etc

p.s. youre acting like a ___________ please the empty line means so many words

    here read this everyone

"Marciano has the highest winning percentage, the highest knockout percentage, the highest winning percentage against rated fighters (since the ratings began), the highest knockout percentage against rated fighters, and the highest winning and knockout percentages against Hall-of-Famers. He is the only fighter to have as many as six victories against Hall-of-Famers without suffering a single loss. He is the only fighter to knock out every rated or ever rated fighter he ever fought, and no one else has come close."

    http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Arena/1047//ring.html

read it and weep suckers. these arent even every month of rankings from ring during rockys career and i counted 5 top 10 guys he fought and beat that didnt win the HW title (lastarza, cockell, layne, savold, and moore) could be 6 with harry matthews being the 6th guy. im pretty sure he was top 10 when rock beat him

also charles was a contender/former HW champ and technically rock owns a top 10 win over walcott when walcott lost the belt. louis was a top 10 guy to.
thats 8 all together with the possibility of more since these are just a few months of ranking from that era

also i find it funny that all these fighters were "bad" when they fought rock

louis, though clearly past it, won his last 8 bouts before he fought rock and a few of them were top 10. if rock was so bad why didnt he lose?

charles won 11 of his last 13 before he fought and lost to rock

walcott won 5 of his last 7 with the one loss being avenged twice against charles

moore went on to win 37 fights after rocky and regain the LHW title twice. is that a shot fighter? also he beat yvon durelle (spelling) who apparently was a great LHW

rex layne was a top dog contender and had not lost in his last 19 fights before he fought rock

lastarza was a top contender for years in the 50's.

the list goes on and on

rock may have fought in a weak era, but he beat everyone put in front of him. if that makes him a POS garbage fighter like some of your ******s think well it shows you dont know much about boxing

That says it all. We might think we know about boxing, but the experts are the guys out there getting pounded. If Louis really said that, then that is a fairly good argument.

joe louis said many, many times after his loss to rocky that he wouldnt have beaten him. maybe he is being modest BUT the fact is he believed rocky would be a tough foe for him no matter when he fought him.

ill take hall of fame fighters and trainers opinions over some ****** eastsideboxing fans who dont know dick about marciano

tyson was in an average era in the 80's and a lot of people think he was a top 10 all timer. at least top 15. why cant marciano be? he beat roughly 8-10 top ten rated men, BY RING MAGAZINE. is that not cleaning out the division. had it not been for marcianos grueling style that cut his career short and his back problems i would bet my house he would have beaten the crap out of johanseen (spelling) or patterson. to think that he ducked floyd CHINA CHIN patterson was a joke. one punch and the fight be over.

rocky was the best in an average division in his day. the fact he was able to retire, without a loss, and stay out of the sport deserves some credit. i dont know where i would put marciano in my top 10. it would probably be in the #4-#6 spot. with ali, louis, and holmes at least ahead of him.
