Why is Margarito so OVERRATED?

    Is it just me or does anyone else agree?
    Yes he has got an excellent chin and a solid shot but what else? Those attributes are perfect for winning him wars i.e the Cotto fight i admit, but what happens when someone boxes him? Oh yes.......He loses. IMO Cotto was a good match up for him because he didnt mind going to war. Now suddenly he's #6 P4P and god in many peoples eyes, yet how many prime P4P stars had cotto beaten?? It just really pisses me off when people on here say things like " margo would destroy PBF" when if PBF boxed him like he did Corrales he'd win a huge UD all day long.

    Just because you think Mayweather would beat him doesn't mean he is overrated.

    You have to be able to box AND fight with him. See the Williams fight.

    I don't think margarito is overrated.. If u followed his career from day one, u would know that he's paid his due and he deserves all the praise that he's getting. He's earned it. Ever since he beat 6 head lewis, he's been put on the side lines time after time but it's his time now. Anyone who knocks Cotto the **** out is not overrated.. He is what he is..

    Paul Williams is overrated, not margo.

    So the illustrious fighters he's beaten and all his losses make him P4P #6????? what a joke. IMO Williams beat him comfortably

    Margarito isn't overrrated. He's a solid champion at the top of the WW division.

    I don't know what fight u were watching but I was at ringside for this fight and believe me, Williams did NOT win comfortably. That's funny. Infact Williams was running in the championship rounds. Run Williams Run..

    Wasn't comfortably at all,a 7-5 win is never comfortabily.Some say Margarito won.

    everyones entitled to there opinion and i have respect for everyone elses, it would be so boring on here if everyone was the same and just nuthugged pacman and discussed Calzaghe and the state of the HW scene all day long
