In saying that the 2 highest earning athletes of 2012 were both boxers, floyd and manny ahead of the who's who of US sports(Lebron, Bryant, manning, Brady etc.).

So you're saying that boxing surpasses gridiron football, baseball, basketball, and autoracing in the U.S. and soccer worldwide? Guess again...it nowhere approaches the popularity of these sports with the mainstream sports fan. They may perk their ears up at a fight with a big marquee name occasionally, but that ain't being a boxing fan. Boxing is the ******* redheaded stepchild in the sportsworld worldwide, except for places like Mexico and the Phillipines and a few Latin American countries.

Others of note on the list:

Donaire was the other boxer on the list at #88. Two MMA fighters, Jon Jones and Anderson Silva, were both higher on the list than JMM.

Duncan and Tiger Woods on the list. It's an odd list.
