How the **** else is he gonna make 144, putting on fat, the bottom line is everyone is gauging his effectiveness at this higher weight based on the fight with Mayweather, no matter what wright that fight was at Floyd would still blow JMM away...

However and this is just my opinion, Manny has gained a little more power than he had at the time he fought JMM last but that's the only thing that I see has improved, he still throws the same combos and his speed in the Mosely fight looks to have slowed...

It's an illusion that he has gotten better because the people he's has gave were all come foward fighters, (Oscar was just done), he hasn't face one fighter with good footwork, intelligence and counter-punching (timing) that JMM has, he hasn't faced any true boxer, Cotto being the closest thing but he has no defense and is only a boxer-puncher....

JMM will do 10 times better than he did against Floyd because he knows Manny's style, doesn't have to worry about grade A defense, a longer reach or the all around boxing skills and smarts that Floyd has...

Juan is hungry, extremely motivated and confident that he can beat Pac, he won't be surprised at how fast Pac is because he faced a faster Pac, he won't be surprised about the power because Pac increase in power is minimal (not say he doesn't have power *******s) nor will he be surprised at an improvement in skillset because I've watched Manny's fights prior and after his jump in weight he uses the same angles and leads with the same combos...

Another close fight is how I see it, I expect Pac to win but I'm rooting for JMM...

You dont have much boxing insight if you cant comprehend how bulking up some would help Marquez.

For starters, everyone of Pacquiao's welter opponents has been right there for him to hit.
Right there in front of Pacquiao where it was Pacquiao who was able to do the dictating with his footspeed how the fight would unfold.

What Marquez does well that none of Pacquiao's welter foes can do is time Pacquiao with shots coming in, and pivot, slide and counter a Pacquiao miss.
Marquez is a grade A expert counterpuncher of which none of Pacquiao's welter opposition can even begin to comprehend.

Mosley for all his running was incapable of pivoting, slipping and firing. Thats not what he good at, thats never been his forte, which is why he was lost against Pacquiao.

Nazim handed Mosley a gameplan that Mosley was'nt equipped to follow.
Nazim looked at Pacquiao's weaknesses and how to go about beating him through seeing how Marquez did it.
The only problem for him is that he forgot about what were Mosley's strenghths and weaknesses.

.....and btw, Marquez in both his fights with Pacquiao got hit cleaner and harder with some of the shots he took than running man Mosley ever did.
The difference is that Marquez had the strong will, heart and mentality to fire right back and let Pacquiao know, "watch out how much effort and extension you put on your punches, because you'll be walking right into one of mine."

Newflash........A Manny Pacquiao type is'nt going to have a punch flow rate and put as much effort and extension on his punches if he is and knows that his oppoent is continually tagging him right back on the counter.

Anyone that know a little bit about boxing knows that the aggressor has to tone down his aggression to the point that he has to put less mustard on his punches, if he expects to get hit right back.
Watch those first two Marquez-Pacquiao fights and you'll know what Im talking about.:yep

ariza also talked about mosley's training and how him training at altitude was pointless

sure enough mosley looked dead tired after a few rounds, as he did in the mayweather fight

My opinion was that Mosley wasn't the same after he stopped doping.

That Pacquiao team is constantly dissing and chanting on how Pacquiao is a completely different fighter now, and that Marquez will be lucky to see round 5.

.....yet the word is that Pacquiao is so motivated, he's traiing harder than he ever has.

For one of the few times in his recent camps, Pacquiao actually showed up early. The early reports were that Pacquiao had already begun his conditioning phase and was already in great shape walking into camp.

All this for a Marquez they're chanting they'll blow away in less than 5???:lol::lol:

Listen, those clowns are talking up a Pacquiao steamroll, but every indication on how they're behaving indicates that they're worried of even a 38 year old Marquez.

LOL at Ariza being critical of Marquez training regimen.:rofl:rofl:rofl
Those clowns are feeling the worry.:yep

    1) He got a new fast car.Of course hes going to be earlier than when he was riding in on his old beat up old donkey:yep

2)Seems like they making sure of things going there way eh? its like they have been in the game awhile or something.bloody clowns.:smoke

    3) they should be worried. They are about to go into a career defining trilogy and i guess JMM is also worried enough to take things seriously-he knows he cant knock Pac down before, but hopes to win anyway it takes.

I think Nacho Libra can be good for the 24/7 episodes. I like the way he is old skool still.

its a double edged sword. he comes in too light, he's being outweighed by a faster and much harder hitting guy.
he comes in heavier, he slows down even more but has more pop, and could probably take a bit better of a punch, but in either scenario Pacquiao hits harder and is faster. they rather have some additional dynamite and chin in their arsenal than speed and agility against this version of Pacquiao.

Uh, that's the desired effect of anabolic steroids... This is the weight gain under careful supervision by doctors that Marquez mentioned. It will be really sad if he fails the post-fight drug test.

The more skilled pocket power puncher is better off with added power and punch resistance than to mantain his lightweight form which comes with some increased speed.

The goal would be not to lose too much speed (which is why Marquez has hired a specialist) that his added mass can compensate for facing this bigger version of Pacquiao.

Re-hydrating to 144 is not the same as coming in as a solid muscular 144-pounder who can afford to train and develop tissue without worrying about cutting weight, which Pacquiao has been doing effectively at Welterweight for a good few years now, and Marquez hasn't been able to figure out. He can't just pretend Pacquiao is the same size as Katsidis on fight night just because of numbers. Hence, Ariza says Marquez is physiologically the smaller guy.

Marquez will be ok. You have to be in his training camp every day to know how Marquez is training and how he will real with the catch weight.
