What has he done that is so incredible?

I think Ward has a better resume if he beats Froch and he almost doesn't make the top 10 PFP.

He beat PWII 1 time (maybe twice) and an out of shape Pavlik.

It all depends on how you rate the fighters he has beaten.

    I'm not that impressed.

    Excuses. :tired
Martinez outboxed the Middleweight champ in a close fight. I though he was so dominant and secured his win because of the cuts Pavlik suffered.
He then proceded to KTFO Williams who was P4P nr 5 in the ring ratings(the same dude Martinez went life and death a year before)

he was the undercard in all 3 fights.....no one else would even get in the ring with paul williams back then, much less do to them what he did.....

andre ward will be # 1 pound for pound very soon

How is ward a good example? his resume sucks, he only has kessler and a bunch of home town fights. Martinez has earned his spot over the last few years and is the #1 middleweight. yet this subject keeps coming up.

i know dude.. I mean, the eye test tells you Martinez is talented.. just like we obviously know Pac is, and May is, and Donaire is, and Gamboa is..... he thoroughly took care of Williams, Pavlik, and Dzindiruk... the question isn't why he should be number 3.. but why he shouldn't be.. whose else has cleaned up fighters as an underdog in impression fashion like he has?.... Outside of Ward, there are not too many talented fighters who are actually proven to be ranked there.. (and when I say proven, I mean, you know exactly what you're getting.. we still don't know how good Khan or Bute or Bradley are yet but we will)....

Dzinzurik is a VERY good fighter, to make him look as bad as he did is a huge statement by Sergio.
