I also don't rate Cintron, Williams & Pavlik as highly as most people do but I do still think Martinez deserves to be #3 p4p

It's all a matter of opinion. If Ward beats Froch in the finals of the super 6 he has a better resume IMO. Froch + Kessler + Abraham > PWII + Cntron + Pavlik.

    No doubt in my mind.

Martinez should barely be in the top 5. I still maintain there's no real basis for him to be ahead of Donaire and JMM.

Its easy now to try to discredit Sergio, but the versions of Williams, Cintron, and Dzinziruk he beat were all in their best shape and on hot winning streaks. The exception was Pavlik, who was and most likely still battling with the bottle and personal issues, but even still he was considered the favourite to beat Sergio.

Underestimated Sergio big time. Ward is the best 168lber in the planet and IMO is top 10 with dominations over Kessler and Abraham, the 2 original favourites to win the tournament. The upset of Kessler a great win, but Abraham was already exposed even by being outboxed by a BRAWLER like Froch. What does that tell you? Martinez just not only improved, but wins in spectacular fashion. He can box and go toe to toe. Like him or hate him Williams was a ko waiting to happen, but only someone the likes of Martinez could expose. He made it look easy and basing on the Lara fight its safe to say Williams is not the same fighter anymore. Like Pacman, Sergio ruins fighters. Unlike Pacman, these fighters are prime.
