Can anyone tell me why hes so high up ? Or even in it ?

surely wlad deserves the third spot after being dominate champ for like the last 7 years ? How do they even decide these ratings ?

Well he's fairly undisputed number one of his division, beat the recognised best in Pavlik, scored a highlight reel KO against Williams who was rated P4P, and has some decent enough second tier wins against Dzinziruk, Barker etc.

    The 3rd spot?

I don't know anyone who has him that high following the 3rd Marquez-Pac fight.

Casting aside the fact they P4P lists are pure fantasy and mean very little IMO, I think heavyweights are generally penalised in the rankings because they aren't that good "pound for pound". Bear with me...

Imagine a 240 pound Sergio Martinez vs Wlad, or imagine a 160 pound Wladimir against Sergio.

Heavyweights just don't have the talent to pound ratio of lighter guys! Coupled with the fact that the competition up there isn't great, and there are no other top P4P to fight and you can kind of see the case for leaving Wlad out in the cold, despite him being a dominant champion for most of his career.

On a lighter note, blame the metric system. In kilogram for kilogram rankings I have the Klitschko's much higher.

That's not how I rank fighters P4P. I base them on achievement, not talent.

Undisputed number 1 middleweight. Beat up Pavlik, KO williams in 2 who was a p4p star, wins over Dzinzirik, Barker, robbed against Cintron etc.

He does have a good resume, but i feel he does get a little overrated. I have Manny, Floyd, Marquez and Donaire all above him, but he certainly deserves to be in the p4p top 6 (wlad may push him down)

Williams at one time was considered one of the best fighters in the world. Martinez I, Quintana, Margo etc.

I think the ring had him in at about 5 before Martinez II

After the Williams-Cintron farce, Paul was ranked #6 P4P in the ESB poll run by Bobby P.

So has Wlad not achieved more than Martinez over a longer period of time?

Or is it just about 2 or 3 fights where he beat the champs? its made up Wallett so it doesnt mean you are right.

I never said where I ranked them... :huh

I'd rank Martinez above Wlad because I think his wins are better. Yes, Wlad has reigned for a long time but the division has been very poor.

The Ring had Williams at Five P4P when Sergio beat him.

Why is he so high up?

Look at the guy he is a sex god hunk. He deserves a top 10 rating for that alone

It's dominant, you mean. Dominate and dominant aren't the same words.

Because weight actually changes what you are and aren't able to do, I would likely be imagining a guy too large to apply Sergio's style to begin with. :blood You'd be best off in P4P discussions rating people according to what they are amongst those in their own weight classes/ranges, to gauge their talent.
