Cheers guys - I guess the main event sells itself and most of the money goes towards that

Who cares? Money is fighting and that's all that matters. If you want to see young, up and comers go watch Shobox.

I agree that they SHOULD want to showcase some of their best fighters.

and I don't think it would cost that much. Many of the best fighters in the world would love to get this kind of exposure.. would likely take less money to get it while taking on a tune-up type fight. One they can look good in. (aka showcase)

the problem is, Top Ran and Mayweather promotions don't have any talent to showcase. Imagine if GGG or Kovalev was on the under card knocking fools out. Easy money for them, gret exposure, and added reason to buy the $99 card.

The undercard is poor for this. Gutted, but not entirely shocked.

They don't want the Undercard upstaging the main event

Having said that, it will be entertaining

If i were planning the undercard i would put at least 2 heavyweight fights on it, some real sluggers. A KO is likely and their skill set will not get confused in any way to Pac and May

Personally i would fly Antony Joshua over and match him up with an American heavyweight prospect
