OK we have to admit that he is a very talented defensive boxer. But who cares, sweet pea was also a defensive genius but he fought the best his era something mayweather needs to prove.

i guess someday some boxer will explore all his faults and will put him to the test, maybe someone that make him look bad like Castillo and DLHY did, but that person hasn't been born yet.

No its a stupid ****ing question if you watch boxing and he deserves to get his dumbass ripped for it. Alot of fighters bend the rules. If everything was called (Calzaghe punching with his palms, Hopkins holding) no fight would ever finish. Hell Floyd should have gotten a point for every time Castillo hit his hips and low blowed him. Its boxing not ****ing ballet.

Pernell Whitaker wouldnt be considered the greatest fighter of all time. As someone posted Floyd ducks low in the act of slipping punches.

**** him, Denmark, and anyone else that complains.

its so fast you can't really penalize it. You have to get frozen images like these to even realize he is doing it otherwise you can't even tell.

I see an opportunity to drop a knee right into his face.Or smack him hard in the head.Or push him over even. Sure its just as illegal as bending that far down is....but it happens so quick its not quite as illegal as it could be huh?:rofl

Looks like fancy evasion tactic for sure, but its hard enough to hit Floyd when hes standing up let alone when hes doing that **** hes doing. :hi:

Just nitpicking, of course it looks bad on a snap shot.

You should have added 'below the beltline' to the title of this thread. As it stands now, it just comes across as some sort of joke, or sheer silliness. It's like asking why a fighter is allowed to punch. But yeah, you have a point, ducking that low is technically illegal, as far as I know. I quite like it though, I love how he throws a punch, then instantly dips right down to dodge the return fire before sidestepping. A thing of beauty to see how smooth and fast the motion is. Even if it's technically not allowed, it's simply far too quick to catch and penalise most of the time. He did it a lot against Hatton, too.
