Why is Mayweather not as idolized as Muhammad Ali?

    Yes but there wasn't as much money back then. Also boxers don't have the same mentality either. Promoters are greedy ****s nowadays. There is a quote from Arum saying that he didn't make the Hoya/Floyd fight happen because he wouldn't get enough money. I think that the Arum vs Floyd beef played a role in why some of those fights didn't happen. Arum simply can't stand Floyd and vice versa.

    :lol: Yeah I don't get it. Clottey def had talent. I guess he wasn't meant to be on the elite level.

    He has not had the great fighters to challenge him in his career. Ali had Joe and George and Ken and Spinks and Liston. It will come down to how he does at the end of his career. Floyd is what 35?
