Why is Mayweather so scared of Pac when he just beat Mosley?

That is the sensible way of thinking. It won't happen here.

if he doesnt agree to fight he scared plain and simple. If someone paid me forty million dollars I'd fight them and their whole family.

Do you think that it might be a tactic for negotiations? From my understanding he laid the framework down for a fight (OSDT) but team Pac is not serious about any type of testing. I am a fan of PACs but seriously 14 day cut off with not enough blood to test . . . come on!

Outside of that the only big money fight out there maybe Cotto IF he gets by Foreman who else is out there? Pwill and Sergio would be interesting but they are not big draws. He might get motivated for Sergio because it would cement his legacy but not to many other fights are that attractive.

i know floyd sr is scared of pac. we'll if floyd is scared he'll not ask for that 14 days cut off coz by pac calling that off and they'll be in the fight! super stars mentality is to always have an edge in negotiation and smart fighters always try to out-smart the other.

once this fight is announce, this idea of being scared will be burried. I know and I hope this fight will come to fruition. and there will be no debate who is the best fighter.

Honestly, I think demanding this kind of testing has its ups and its downs, it can be for good reasons to have this testing and it can be used for other reasons here are examples of both.

    1) Floyd has the right as does any fighter in Nevada to request this testing and why shouldnt he? this is a highley dangerous sport, but I also think some sort of limitations should be set, I can understand testing Mosley due to Mosleys past no doubt about it. But for a fighter who has no background, I think that should be up to the commission to decide and not the fighter.

    2) The bad side of this, is it can be used to basicly sabatoge a fight, and I think that is what happend here, you ask who walks away from that kind of money over blood work?
I ask you this, who risk giving up that kind of money by over demanding blood work from a fighter who has never once tested positive for any steriods..

While Floyd fans can argue Manny gave up on that kind of Payday cus he has something to hide....

Pac fans can argue... that Floyd basicly shot himself in the foot knowing that asking for this kind of testing would blow the fight.....

What I do want to ask you all.... Do any of you really know what kind of effect, having blood taken from your body randomly like that would have on a fighter who is training at this level? lets say during 8 weeks of training, a fighter is tested once a week (blood tested) do you not think its going to have an effect on how that fighter trains or perhaps not only on his training but on the fighter?

I mean if any of you have been in a boxing club where you have a elite fighter like this training, the intensity in which they train is un real what they subject themselves to in the gym is ****ing insane so whos to really say that the blood work will not have an effect?

I know Floyd fans... your going to say Floyds taking the same test.. and your right, but the last time out he wasnt tested as much as mosley, and this is supposed to be his even playing field:think

Hell, I would give a blood transfusion that same day! I love Pac but his camp did a ***** move last time and need to step up to the plate, play ball and show that they really want the fight

HAHAHA you act like floyd made up the schedule . . . funny stuff. I am a fan of Manny's and as such I think he should take the test to clear his name. I never thought he was on anything but I think Roach did not want the fight at that time. He needed more time to get ready.

oh, I am a fan of PBF too . . . i know someone is going to question my motives.

its not about the schedule its about both being tested equal times, why is it that it favored the man who demanded these test:think

I don't see how Mayweather could know that asking for blood tests would make the fight fall through, people can say he knew Pacquiao had problems with blood etc but Pac has said he will take a 14 day cut off now, so why wouldn't he take it then?

I think Floyd had it in his head that Pacquiao was using enhancers and their reaction to his demands (the contradicting stories and lies) only strengthened his belief more.

I don't know what blood tests repeatedly could do to your body however I don't see it being a problem in other sports where a high standard of fitness is needed like cycling or various olympic sports, I thought both Mayweather and Mosley looked in great shape on the scales so I don't think affected either.

Also my understanding is they were tested the same amount of times each, I seem to remember them releasing the test dates that confirmed this but I could be wrong.

    They were tested equal times.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=ki-bloodtests052110

Each man was tested seven times prior to the fight and then again on the night of the fight by USADA, which will retain their samples for future testing.

Each of the eight tests included required the fighters to provide urine samples; they were required to give blood four times.

Mayweather gave blood and urine on March 22, April 1, April 13 and then May 1 after the fight. He gave urine only on April 3, April 6, April 21 and April 24.

Mosley gave blood and urine on March 23, March 31, April 12 and then May 1 after the fight. He gave urine only on March 29, April 7, April 20 and April 26.

It would hurt Pacquiao if he lost to Floyd Mayweather. It doesn't matter if he's lost before but losing to Mayweather Jr would devastate him. Floyd is scared of losing his 0 but I feel he'd outbox Pacquiao anyways. You just don't know what will happen in fights that's why I love boxing so much.

This fight could of happen before Mayweather vs Mosley if Pac didn't pull out the last time. If Pac really wanted to show the world that Floyd is scared of him, he would of took the fight then. Now here we are the second time around and the same problem is at hand once more. Manny now agrees to the testing, but only if there is a 14 day cut off, the same deal that was made the first time which he refused. Here's the jack pot question, "why accept the deal now and not then, what has changed"? The answer to that is time. Either Manny needed more time to prepare for someone like Mayweather or he needed time to get rid of what was in his system (if he had anything in there). According to the doping agency, knowing there's a cut off date defeats the whole purpose of taking the test in the first place. Knowing this now and not then, does that make Floyd afraid of Manny? In my opinion it dosen't, it makes him smarter. Manny had the upper hand the first time around, but by making the fight prolong he only out smarted himself.
