Why is Mayweather taking this fight much more seriously than Pac?

Mayweather changed the way he trained he even admitted he changed it because Pac is not any other fighter he has fought he said this with his own mouth.

Pac feels this fight is not that of a big deal compared to how mayweather thinks.

Pac cracking jokes while he trains people in the mayweather camp say mayweather is very serious and they never saw him like this before.

Mayweather is chopping wood he said "mentally he has to do it to believe he can win"

meanwhile pac has been playing on swings and playing darts

when fighters lose early in the career that's hard enough but to lose in the last fights that must be a killer and to lose to the guy the public have said you was ducking no wonder mayweather is training like a crazy man

I personally would prefer seeing a person that takes training very seriously and really wants to win than a guy who's very laid back. I'm sure Pacquiao really wants to win aswell, but there have been a lot of bad things coming out of his camp such as cramps and Pacquiao not running etc. When I see video clips of Floyd training, it's like he's going full out. Even when he's punching the punch bag, it's all out, not like his normal tap shots, he's now actually hitting the punch bag with venom.

    This can work both ways.

    1) Either Floyd is mentally scared of Pacquiao and he has to train like this to reassure himself that he can beat Pacquiao. If that's the case, then chances are he's going to be mentally shot to peices on the day of the fight and nothing is going to work out for himself.

    2) Or, Pacquiao is in for one hell of a rough night and Mayweather does the number on him, because potentially Floyd can do that. Floyd is the overall all round better boxer than Pacquiao, so maybe Floyd wants to really beat up on the guy.

It's interesting to see Floyd in this way, it's hard to work out his mental state.

I agree with most of those points but that interview with Stephen a smith really proved that he is mentally is scared I knew this before but him admitting he is not like any other fighter and the fact he needs to go back to where it started to reassure himself mentally speaks for itself

Another excuse, this is getting embarrassing, seriously pac might not even lose, you don't need all these excuses. Pac****s are so scared they're coming up with some really inventive ones to be fair.

    So far:

    -pac is shot
    -pac isn't training
    -mayweather is a middleweight
-pac got knocked out a few years ago

Any more to add to the list?

Fear is not always a bad thing. Sometimes having fear brings out the best in people, where it motivates them to achieve great things, because they know they have to be at their best, whilst some let the fear overtake them where it freezes them. People react to fear in different ways. We'll have to see what happens.

Seriously though the way Floyd is taking this fight more seriously than pac is interesting nothing to do with excuse.

You shouldn't cry excuse every time someone is taking about the details of this fight.

If you read the actual thread, the OP is saying Floyd is scared, not Pacquiao. Read the actual posts before you comment, otherwise you're going to look stupid.

because Floyd needs to train hard to convince himself that he can win, whereas Pac already knows he will win

If Pac loses, it's just another loss, he's lost before and he'll likely lose again some point in the future even if he beats Mayweather. The fear of that first loss is not there for Pac. While it's a huge fight, Mayweather is seen as the favourite the pressure isn't on Pac like Mayweather.

Mayweather has more to prove and more to lose as he has been perceived to have cherry picked a lot, to lose this fight could put much of what he has achieved under scrutiny. He has worked so hard to protect that 0 and that fear of losing is motivating him, so this isn't a bad thing at all, in fact it's likely a positive thing and we may see the best Mayweather in years against Pac.

Yes and he's saying manny is barely training in comparison to floyd, so if manny loses he can use it as another excuse. Read his posts before you comment, otherwise you're going to look stupid.
