Why is Michael Moorer not in the hall of fame?

    Gatti was one tough son of a bi$Ch

    But,

    It is obvious his popularity as an all action guy and his tremendous popularity with fans and media got him in. Very similar to Mancini.

    Even some experts would get caught up in "voting with their hearts" as some actually favored him to beat Floyd Mayweather. LOL. I knew it would be a total beatdown and it was.

    The win against Patterson was fairly impressive, but Patterson was limited, hot and cold. An old Zaragoza was able to beat Patterson.

    Come to think of it, I think Zaragoza's career accomplishments rival or surpass Gatti's.

    I think the drama surrounding his untimely and tragic death has more to do with why Gatti is in the hall than anything else.

    I think the question should be why would he be in the HOF.

    dethroning Holy was great and he isn't getting the credit he deserves for that imo, however that's pretty much what his career added up to.
