Since losing to Forrest Shane's best win is over Collazo and his next best win is over either a shot Vargas or Estrada.

I'd say Mosley's biggest moment to boost him is that he had a close fight with Cotto. But does having a close fight with Cotto mean he is still on the elite level?

EDIT - Some idiots thought I was bashing Mosley and saying hes not an ATG.

Mosley is an ATG and a future HOF. Im merely talking in terms being an elite today.

So because Cotto has a loss he is no longer elite, therefore this discredits Mosley despite the fact that the decision was very controversial in manys eyes
So by your logic Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard or Sugar Ray Robinson shouldnt be rated that high either. Right?

    Lay off the crack pipe

By ezes standards there must only be one or two elites in the sport

    What?

Cotto is an elite in the WW division. Im asking what has Mosley done that has him rated so high? What has he done since losing to Forrest?

Mosley lost but was not beaten, can you comprehend that?
Don't you judge a fighter mainly based on their most recent performance? If so how could you NOT rate Mosley as an elite?

at 36 years old he had a very close fight with one the p4p best fighters in the world......not to mention, he's one of the most skilled fighters in boxing, and on top of that, he would give anyone trouble; if not beat them....i'd say thats reason enough to consider him elite

That's like saying Zab Judah deserves to be ranked among the elites because he can compete against anyone for the first 4 rounds.

Mosleys biggest thing he's done since losing to Forrest is have a close fight with Cotto. His next biggest thing is his win over Collazo, and after that a win over Vargas or Estrada.

Besides the close fight what has he done? Judah can match anyone in the first 4 rounds of a fight does he deserve to be considered an elite still?

Mosley has done nothing great since losing to Forrest.

:patsch Your missing my thread ending point entirely
To put it in perspective take Tommy Hearns for example. After Hearns got KTFO by leonard he moved up to light middle and beat Marcos Geraldo and Jeff McCracken(clearly not elite fighters) so why was he rated so highly?
    This do anything for you?

Thomas Hearns went on after that to beat Benitez.

Mosley after losing to Forrestx2 had a NC with Marquez, then cheated against DLH. Lost to WinkyX2

Beat Cruz, Estrada,Vargasx2 beat Collazo than lose to Cotto.

Everytime Mosley stepped up to the next level with his opposition he lost.

i dont know how.... he TKO'd vargas twice, a UD over Collazo, a close fight with Cotto and Winky Wright not to mention his win over ODLH......i'd say thats enough to be considered elite, which is why he is considered elite.....thats fights with 5 different former world champions, not to mention he's passed prime and fighter above his natural weight, it's pretty obvious he's an elite...

but on another note what does zab have to do with mosley???? matching someone for 4 rounds aint the same as matching someone for a full fight when you're a 12 round fighter is it not???....so that comparasion was no good honestly
