Sorry I dont think having a close fight with Cotto deems you are elite.

Mosley has lost everytime hes stepped up in competition since facing Forrest.

I agree. IMO Mosley is more gone than Oscar is. He's 36 now and was getting beat to the punch by Cotto for crying out loud when in his prime he was cleary faster by a mile.

I thought Cotto was elite at 147 but was proven wrong. I guess you would have to say Margo is at 147 along with Williams right now evryone else is a step below.

There is no difference at all, don't give me these bull**** theories you're inventing yourself please, save that for other noobs you discuss with who will sit and listen, that's pure rubbish right there.

Vivian Harris?, by the time Floyd got to Gatti and was still at 140 do you want us to remember what happened to Vivian Harris exactly on the very same undercard of that fight?, that should answer your question. Also, would you honestly say that a fight with Gatti would be better/bigger to boost Floyd's career at that point and put him on the scene in terms of PPV and big fights or a fight with Vivian Harris?, as Gatti is considered a paper champion in your logic then so was Vivian Harris who got a belt dropped away by Kostya Tszyu pretty much like Gatti did, remember? :deal, just jumping from one name to another and failing miserably. :rofl

Now let's see about Cotto, do you honestly consider a NEW Cotto who barely had 20 fights at the time a legit threat and opponent for Floyd?, let's remember something you probably don't even know as well, BOTH Floyd and Cotto were with Arum at the time and when Floyd publicly stated that he wanted to fight Cotto but it's still too soon for Cotto who was officially considered "rising" and a prospect at that point by almost everyone following boxing back then(yourself obviously not included) then Arum sure as hell agrees with him. Even during an interview which promoted the Judah fight BOTH Arum and Mayweather were sitting right next to each other answering questions on an interview and Arum openly stated that Cotto is planning a move to 147(please note that this was nearly 1 year if not more before Cotto moved up) but still needs more fights and to stay active as a new up and comer, Arum also publicly stated on that very interview that Floyd would be far too experienced for a "not ready" Cotto.

It's not my problem you weren't around to download these videos fresh as they came out.

So because you agree with him it makes it a fact? Nice try but it doesn't. That comes down to opinion, and losing a fight to me doesn't mean you are elite.

How can you consider Shane elite when Shane in his prime would be Cotto to the punch yet was being beaten to the punch by Cotto.

And tell me this, Why are you giving Mosley credit for his 2nd win over DLH when he admitted he was on steroids.

Not to forget that when he had Cotto hurt late he was running out of gas and could barely follow him. Even his tactic in the fight was throwing one big punch at a time with very little boxing or even combinations. All that will of course be ignored to continue hyping someone simply to use as a hating shield against Floyd with all of that jumping to Margarito.

I'm a huge Cotto fan who has been following him ever since he was an amateur but you got to expose the fake fools from the actual fans.

a comment like this could only come from someone that doent really follow boxing.. was ODLH NOT CONSIDERED ELITE IN late 03?

were Collazo and Estreda not ranked top ten by RING when Shane beat them.. were they not also PRIME and one was a title holder?

Clottey is elite in Max Kellerman's world, now it's obvious where your "Facts" come from and why there are none in almost all of your posts.

    Totally agree.
Mosley is an all-time favorite of mine and one of the reasons why I became a hardcore boxing fan from casual.

Yes he is elite, I never said he isn't. I knew Cotto was going to be an elite professional ever since checking him out at the amateurs and despite his loss to Abdullaev I knew he might have lacked as an amateur but obviously had A LOT to offer as a professional.

The loss against Margarito doesn't prove he's not elite, not even close. Only a noob would say/think that.
