Why is Mosley rated so high, he hasn't beaten an elite in years..

    Hatton P4P is a better fighter than Mosley right now.

    By whom? Who gives a **** about any subjective set of ratings?

    Mosley is great...used to be a lot greater.

    Even a faded Mosley has tools that allow him to remain competitive or even dominant with top welterweights (Cotto, Collazo) and completely brutalize shot ones (Vargas).

    To have a high opinion of the SS of late is to recognize that faded greatness is still very good.

    In this case yeah. Mosley beat better fighters where as Hatton beat washed up fighters. :deal

    I could argue that Mosleys best win since before Forrest is Collazo and then I could add in that he beat him after Hatton did, Hatton ruined Collazo. Mosley beat a faded Collazo. But I dont.



    Floyds Resume at WW is better than Cottos. If you are going to debate please debate instead of waiting for someone to save you.

    What do you mean by ruin? He made Hatton look like **** and it was obvious Hatton should not be a welterweight which means Floyds win over him is not better than Cottos win over Mosley. :deal

    Vargas did pretty good in the first fight with Mosley. Took his shots as well pretty good. But that gigantic swelling hindered it from continuing. However the second fight was another story. There would've never been a second fight if Vargas had not performed reasonably well in the first bout. However, Vargas hasn't been the same since Trinidad -- but Mosley hasn't been the same since Forrest. Both of their nervous systems had shocks that would cause them to react and behave differently in the ring. People talk about Vargas beating by Tito, but Shane got really beat up in the first Forrest fight. Shane had never been hurt before and has a chin, but that head butt followed by that right and that devastating uppercut entirely changed him as a fighter forever. He did not recover enough to do anything of substance in that fight against forrest for AT LEAST 4-3 rounds. Vargas, at the first fight, was more shot than Mosley, but by no stretch of the imagination was he done or sucked in that fight. He did pretty good and won a few rounds.

    Mosleys best win at WW since before Forrest is Collazo. So is Hattons.
