and Cotto destroyed Judah while Gayweather probably lost four rounds and was knocked down.

Overall, probably. Quintana hadn't really done anything, whilst Baldomir at least had a win over the mentally frail Judah. Only Judah could have lost that fight.

Whether he's actually a better fighter is a different story.

No its not the same. Judah had not won in TWO YEARS. Two years. On top of that, he had not fought for a year. Just because Judah "had the time to work" doesn't mean he was. First off, this is Judah we are talking about and 2nd, a year of ****ing inactivity. You dont think a year of inactivity is going to hurt someone? Margo was set up against Gomez because he had been out of the ring for so long. Add in a year for a Judah. It's not the same, you simply dont have a case besides admitting your bias.

Im talking merely the win at the respected times.

The Baldomir win with the Lineal title is better than a Quitana victory.

EZE- Are you really asking explaination on why Cotto's resume is better than FLoyd at 147?

I'm not an expert...but...i do think that

Quintana, JUdah, Mosley and yes even if he lost against him, Margarito

    is better than

    Mitchell, Judah and Baldomir.

Yes they did, have you been living in a cave or Mexican Legend's house?

    DLH
    Mosley
    Forrest
    Mayorga
    Spinks
    Judah

were all unified undisputed champions in the division.

Your bias as well saying Hatton is a better win than Mosley at welterweight.

Well thats pretty obvious. Quintana hadn't actually done anything at the time.

They are both pretty weak when you are trying to hold up either guy as "the man" though.

I am talking during this period. We've had lineal champions, but nobody that has actually proven he is the best fighter in the division. There is a difference.

Im not. Im simply comparing resumes at the time Cotto beat Mosley.

A Baldomir victory is better than a Quitana victory. Mitchell is better than Urkal.

Floyds win over Judah is far better than Cottos win over Judah for obvious reasons.

    Which leaves Mosley-Hatton.

At best its equal of a victory to both fighters.

You're forgetting Hatton, even so, Mayweather's intentions wasn't to stay and dominate, he wanted a few mega-fights before he retired and that's what he openly admitted he wants as his career was coming to an end. Cotto's intentions were to stay active and dominate, for good obvious reasons, he didn't completely dominate two divisions before and captured a title in a third, #1 position and lineal title in a fourth as Mayweather already did at the time.

So having the WBC/WBA/IBF titles isn't enough proof that they're the best?
