Okay so let me ask you this. At the respected times. Who had the better resume at WW?

This is when Cotto beat Mosley.

So Mayweather has Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, Hatton

Cotto has Quitana, Urkal, Judah, Mosley.

I should have been more clear. You think Hatton is a better fighter than Mosley at welterweight since you claim he is a better win.

Should have been more clear? You clearly stated I "said" Hatton would beat Mosley.

I never said I think Hatton is a better fighter at WW. Im merely saying he a better win given the circumstances.

That's true but still got the position he was looking for and went for the fight he was targetting all his career in DLH, he had no intentions to stay and dominate the division, never denied that.

LOL, no I didnt. I said according to you Hatton > Mosley which could mean a lot of things. How is it a better win under the circumstances when it was clear he shouldnt have been a welterweight in the first place?

That's fine, we just can't hold him up as the man.

Realistically we won't get one until Margarito/Williams fight again, and if Margarito wins a close decision we might need a rubber. Berto got the ****ing belt handed to him, I don't see that as an essential win.

Mosley is old and throws 1 punch at a time.

Hatton is in his prime and throws more than 1 punch at a time. Both beat Collazo, making them equal at best of a victory.

What the true point of our debate is.

Cottos resume wasn't better than Floyds when Cotto beat Mosley. End of discussion.

Why is Cottos better? Right at the moment Cotto beat Mosley why was Cottos better?

He still was the man after beating Baldomir as were the champions I already mentioned before him, as far as completely dominating a division then losing that could be a rare case considering the activity in boxing and how long fighters actually last. You only beat all the champions available, unify and can be considered as the man, then whoever beats you takes that spot and that's what happened with all the champions mentioned right there and what Margarito is trying to do all over again now that the top fighter in the division retired.

He had better wins? What were better wins?

    Mitchell > Urkal

Baldomir > Quitana (Quitana had accomplished and done nothing yet)

    Floyds Judah > Cottos Judah

Now without even discussing the Mosley/Hatton fights. Is the Mosley win that great? Considering he struggled and looked bad. Is the Mosley win so great that it even though Floyds win over the others beat out Cottos. The Mosley win eliminates that?
