He hasn't fought for an entire year, that level of inactivity should get you off any p4p list.
    What do you think? :think

I think the fact that he's actively seeking fights is why many publications still have him ranked. He thought he had a fight with Pac this past fall and that fell through. He was supposed to fight Clottey in December and that was scraped. Then he was supposed to fight Berto in January and that got canceled.

Because he is the man to beat at welterweight and has been fighting to be the man since stepping up to the Welterweight division. Because p4p is entirely subjective, and because he's about to fight the #2 p4p in Mayweather, and take for example the manifestation of a Mosley victory. General consensus says he will lose, but is a live dog. If so, then does a Mosley victory propel him into top 5 p4p after having been outside the top10 p4p list for over a year? Does it make any sense? People are just warming Mosley up into the P4P lists to hype the fight up IMO.

P4P is very subjective. On my p4p list, he barely cracks top15. That is just my opinion.

he is not in the esb P4P list and is not ranked at welterweight due to inactivity.

I will be a bit off topic here, but in all his inactivity, why did he not call out Cotto for a rematch at least. I really wonder now that he says he is the best welterweight in the world and the skies.

Until there are some clear rules on how much inactivity gets you bumped from the P4P list, he should be on there for the time being I suppose. Personally though I think 1yr inactivity max.

untill all the major ranking bodies set a period of time for inactivity then he will be there untill he fights again and looses or retires and rightly so , as its a fictional title therfore its all about IF'S

because Mayweather has a perfect record and was retired, where Mosely has a few losses, and one loss in the last three fights and wasnt officially retired. And because Mayweather was # 1 and when he came back he dropped in the rankings. and because all roads lead to Mayweather
