all the losses Floyd has. That is why he is the underdog. People figure if those guys can beat him than Floyd can. Winky schooled Mosley 2 times. Mosley is good but he will have to overpower Floyd to beat him, and Shane is not a huge puncher. Some people talk like he is John Mugabi or Thomas Hearns.
He won't school Mosley but win a clear decision probably 8 rounds clear, pretty close to schooling but mainly just due to his superior speed reflex's and youth rather than some boxing lesson. They say floyd has a great boxing brain and so on but a lot of what I see him do seems to me to rely more on speed and lightning reflex's coupled with timing than some grand master plan and tactics for a fight. I can see Mosley having some good moments and will make this floyds hardest fight to date but ultimately getting beaten to the punch with floyd keeping his distance and getting a UD. Mosley keeps saying he is going to knock floyd out, the trouble is he wont be there to get knocked out. And there's no way floyds knocking mosley out he knows this and will be on his bike in this one.
Shane is 40! And hasnt fought in OVER a year! (which is my main concern, if this was even 5 years ago, Id favor Mosely easily)
Also you said you'd be surprised if he fought Mosley as well as saying you thought he'd wait till Shane was 40. This was 4 months ago.
Im VERY surprised he is and I wouldve LOST money betting on it, Im def excited about the fight. I like Mosely and pulling for him but DEF realize hes an underdog. I just wish when the Berto fight got cancelled he still took a tuneup.
Since Mosley-Mayweather was officially announced, I must have asked at least a couple of dozen people in the business to pick a winner. With three exceptions, everyone picked Mayweather to win. In this instance, the majority is incorrect. :smoke
You have me there. I forgot to mention stamina. Mayweather has the stamina to keep it up for 12 where as Cotto slowed down and eventually exchanged. 1. I will agree that Cotto is more willing to sit down on a punch than Mayweather. I am not sure when "pressure" was applied. Might have to watch it again. I was even surprised to see so much movement and boxing from "the stalker" Cotto. 2. I agree. Nazim is the wild card in this situation, but there is no "antidote" to a guy roasting you buy using range except pressure and his "cracking". Do you see Mayweather cracking? Nazim puts an X into the equation, but I don't see the answer to a guy you can't catch.
