Run into Choc in Woolworths [ had to ask him if he was Anthony Mundine] in Mt Isa on Friday after the fight - talked a bit about boxing and footy and signed autographs and posed for photos for anyone that asked - was doing community work with young fellas here and going up to the Gulf towns and communities to do the same. First time I've ever met him and he comes over as a good bloke [ no street talk ] . Starting to think theres 2 Chocs - the pre-fight controversial Choc and the post - fight good bloke Choc . Just a opinion. Know what everyone will say that hes hiding out after the fight in the scrub but hes changed my mind about him .

Ive got a photo which my sister sent to me from there.
It's Mundine in a beauty salon in Mt Isa getting a pedicure, still doens't manage to smile though.

The word is he is up there visiting his girlfriend, I am being serious too, however this may well just be a silly rumour, Choc's unpopular enough as it is.

Good to hear here went up to the Gulf to help out, its a different world up there. Let's just hope he's being a positive role model explaining to the kids that he is eternally grateful of his opportunities, the skills that he has been blessed with and the life he has had, rather than damning the system, continuing his racism and other crap that we see too much of.

You have the question what kind of role model he would be for these kids though. Working with disadvantaged kids for years I was told that this (consistency) is what they really miss out on. With parents high one minute showing affection, then coming down and throwing the boot in the next, the poor kids never know what to expect.

I suppose Choc's split personality would probably seem pretty normal.
