I hope this wont be the co-feature. For once Id like one of these Mega Pacquiao events to have just one very good match-up instead of mismatches or build-up a Top Rank prospect.

Kelly Pavlik is ranked #1 @ WBC... SMW. WTF Boo? He only fought once at 168 and lost to Hopkins.

Another sneaky one for Sulaiman and the gang. With that, Andrade #2 - Abraham #3 - Johnson #4 makes it that much appealing for an eliminator. Is Johnson good enough to give a healthy KP 6+ rounds? I don't know much about him.

I think AA goes back down to 160, and would like to see Kelly sending Green back to the 4th dimension where he belongs, with murdering right hands. That exercise proved good enough for the Road Warrior to regain momentum and confidence, why not have Pavlik take the same path? Green is as much of a 'name' as Andrade nowadays IMO.

Has Kelly's manager said anything about 175, or is this just speculation? They were once aiming at Bute, that was pre-Martinez I believe...

There are posters on ESB who are VERY close to the Pavlik camp. Reportedly he weighed 188 pounds last Wednesday, and is in great shape. They are not 100% certain he can make 168, so there has been some speculation about 175.

Pavik fought Hopkins at LHW not SMW. Overall, Pav's record above 160 is 13-1 (11 KO's,) but a #1 ranking is silly. When Pavlik is on track he's good for business, so the WBC, WBO, Top Rank, and HBO will probably give him a couple of breaks, and see what he does with the opportunities.

He doesn't need Allan Green. At this point I think an opponent needs two things: (1) He needs to be someone KP would get at least a little credit for beating; (2) He needs to be able to make Pav work hard for at least 8 rounds. I do not think Green is our man!
