Why is nobody talking about the possibility of Cunningham Tarver

i think the problem lately is people look for names over competition

 

Tarver is scared of USS.

He knows it would be his last payday.

I mean, look at USS, then look at Suckalips. Looks aren't everything, but USS has proven to be substance over style.

Tarver is out for the big Paydays. Cunningham is a great fighter but has no fanbase.

 

Tarver has a great fanbase? Really did i miss smth? That guy cant even sell 5k tickets on his own.

 

Why would someone buy a ticket if he is on his own? You need two for a fight.

 

Does anyone really see him as a world champion? He has the IBO belt, we're not really counting that as world champion are we?
I would much rather see him unify one of the major belts and fight guillermo jones as I dont really think Guillermo deserves a belt at that weight and he has already faced the other two belt holders, Huck and Wlodarczyk. Or fight the undefeated frenkel, about time he deserves a shot

 

What's wrong with fighting Europeans? There are more good euro cruiserweights than American.

Cunninghham is a fighter I admire, a champion willing to travel to make the fights. Cunningham has fought tough opposition that dont have name recognition (to America) but are top fighters.
I think Tarver would be an easy fight for Cunningham but due to name recognition would probably give both a payday.

On a seperate note I like Tarver as a commentator and he comes across as a good person. Although Tarver may have been a bit of a hype job, I cant help but be a fan.
Its a fight where I wouldnt want there to be a loser

 

Good post, but you are wasting your time. I have said this before and people think you are trolling.
At this time the top HWs are European, Cunningham has been beaten by Wlod before and is only rated top due to Adamek (European) moving up in weight.
Someone was saying about SMWs recently where I noted the WBC, IBF, WBO, WBC eremitus, WBA regular, WBA INT champ all European, but if people dont know a fighters name they dont rate them

 

I would love to see this fight to be honest but it probably won't happen. I would favor USS by UD if it does though. Danny Green is one thing but USS is a whole nother problem.

 

USS really wants this fight, but Tarver is nowhere near slightly interested.
