And this is why I have hate towards the Fobs in the Philippines. I AM A FILIPINO AMERICAN AND THEIR HATE TOWARDS US MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE. I never have a problem with them in the past until they showed their hate towards filipino born Americans. ****ING HATERS STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN.

Hate us because we are Americanized? We were born here and grew up here and of course we're gonna act Americanized. we are a product of our environment. FOBS think with no logic and with hate in their hearts. **** them.

As long as Pac is in the game ND will always walk in Pacman's shadow. Simple. Then there's the whole thing about ND's career not being managed the ideal way.

What I don't get is why Sergio isn't a huge star yet. I know he hasn't had a mega fight but take a look at Canelo - he's accomplished far less than Sergio and is already a big star. SM has Hollywood looks, is an action fighter in the ring, and provides for his community. Argentina must really hate boxing.

And your reading comprehension is as deep as a frying pan.

Is it Arum's fault it isn't sold here? Is it the Philippines' fault they're too poor to travel to the US? And steal that ****? Lol man, it's a PPV broadcast put on a projector. It's just like buying a Hopkins fight and make your friends watch it with you.

Oh, so you're generalizing? Filipinos can't be boxing fans too? Is there some kind of law stating that? I guess Americans are only Floyd fans too, since Floyd was famous in the US before he fought OLDH. Double standards issue.

Are you the representative of the whole boxing community?

I said this in response to the TS: Filipinos don't like his treatment of his father since the Philippines has a patriarchal society. Oh and his wife. They don't like his wife.

You said this in response: i gives a **** what the filipinos in the phillippines think and I doubt the boxing promoters do too. they don't generate ppv buys.

You think Nonito's fame is only limited to how he does well in PPV fights? I brought up Manny since he is a prime example of how a fighter can be famous without the help of being a PPV attraction (before OLDH came along) and you somehow turned it into a Filipino-bashing thread. Well, your reading comprehension IS as deep as a frying pan, so I shouldn't have expected any better. At least I'm not generalizing the US based on a few negatives like you.

Didn't you reply to my quote? If you don't understand the point I'm making don't reply at all. Read first and then make a conscious reply ****ing dumbass. I went off topic and replied to Jasper saying the boxing community don't consider PI fans as real boxing fans and you and the other fob have been proving my POINT.

Oh so that is the root of your hate. Like I said in my previous post, don't generalize everyone based on a select few. I have a Fil-Am bestfriend myself.

Nonito disrespected his father on camera and his wife was being a ***** in an interview. No mention of Fil-Am race or anything like that.

The root of my hate is the root of FOBS hate. Like I said, I never had a problem with them until one of them shot me at a party in highschool for talking to some girl he liked only to find out him and his goon squadron hated me and my friends because we don't act like fobs.

I don't want to generalize but the hate is universal, I read the comments on forums, youtube, etc. and I've been through plenty of experiences in my past to realize that a lot FOBS don't like Fil Ams. A lot of those past experiences are violent.

But thats besides the point. If you don't want to accept that you guys are not boxing fans but Manny fans I am done here. Prove me wrong and broadcast a Mayweather PPV event like a Manny bout.

    Forgive me for laughing.

It's really rare for a boxer to have a whole country backing him, but can you give me one country, JUST ONE, that has its citizens as REAL BOXING FANS. Come on, I'm waiting. Your posts make it look like the US's whole population are real boxing fans.

Filipinos living in their home country are different from FOBS. My god do you even understand what FOB means? Many Filipinos haven't even stepped outside their home country and they're labeled as fobs? I guess Manny is a fob too don't you think?

It's impossible for a whole country to have majority of its population as boxing fans, but is it really impossible for a country to have a small margin of knowledgeable boxing fans?

Like I said, and my final post since I'm doing a business plan for school, Nonito's fame isn't that big because of on-cam behavior that didn't click with the fan base that mattered the most, the Filipinos. It doesn't matter if they pay PPV or not, they're still fans. Manny is more famous than Floyd is yet Floyd is richer than Manny. More PPV revenue =/= more famous.

You know, I don't even understand why they call us that. Is it really that rare when immigrants come to the US? Didn't they realize that their forefathers came on boats, and us on planes? Lol.

Your premise is based on a gross generalization thus your main argument is wrong.

To be honest, I feel for you. I live in NYC and have had bad beefs with Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, American Blacks, Haitians, Russians, etc.
But that never stopped me from supporting Cotto, ODLH, JCC, Tyson, PBF, RJJ, Berto, etc.

You just have to elevate yourself. If not you just end up what you are hating.
