this - he's rated just fine IMO. I just hope he's remembered for what he brought to the sport. The fights he gave us in the ring.
He is great because he fought every single guy at the top out there when he was active. The downside is he lost majority of his great fights. But all the credit for taking them. Imagine if guys like him are what we have today... And he is nowhere to being underrated imo. A guaranteed HOF.
Because people always focus way more on big losses than big wins. Look at the way Hatton was rememebred in retirement. Always the Pac fight, never for Tszyu.
That what boxing needs .Like SRL quote "The biggest sin in boxing is inactivity" If more fighters fought as often as Oscar or we had more tourneys. The sport would not lack big stars or rely on part time ones .
