Oscar fought his career like we say we want fighters to. He was popular and well paid for it, too.

Funny but what also propelled Floyd to almost a household name was his fight with Gatti who Oscar also demolished prior to Floyd beating him..Yet people seem to forget that as well.

    this -

he's rated just fine IMO. I just hope he's remembered for what he brought to the sport. The fights he gave us in the ring.

He is great because he fought every single guy at the top out there when he was active.

The downside is he lost majority of his great fights. But all the credit for taking them. Imagine if guys like him are what we have today...

And he is nowhere to being underrated imo. A guaranteed HOF.

Because people always focus way more on big losses than big wins.

Look at the way Hatton was rememebred in retirement. Always the Pac fight, never for Tszyu.

Def not gonna argue with that. His resume is one of the best in this era. Similar with Bhop.

That what boxing needs .Like SRL quote "The biggest sin in boxing is inactivity"

If more fighters fought as often as Oscar or we had more tourneys. The sport would not lack big stars or rely on part time ones .
