    Nice analysis rover:good
also another big factor is floyd's ability to adjustment during fights. One of the reasons why he is undefeated is because he adjusts too well during the fight.
PAC needs to be unpredictable and bring variety of moves to be successful in the fight, he needs to offset floyd's adjustments.

very true mate. he is probably the smartest boxer today and maybe ever. he has ring craft and its going to be up to pacquiao to drag him into a dogfight. we seen in the mosley fight that he isnt superhuman. you may only get 1 little chance to catch floyd and you have to take your chances. Floyd will want to keep it on the outside use his jab and outbox pacquiao which we all know he can do. can Freddie Roach conjure up anything to neutralise the IQ of mayweather?

I agree with this to a certain extent...I think no-one is on Pacquiao's level at 140lbs, but other than Mayweather at 147lbs...I can't think of anyone else at this point who would/could beat Pacquiao.

People think Mayweather is the better boxer out of the two, they also think he cost himself the fighter of the decade award by retiring and some sites even have him back as the P4P#1 since coming out of retirement.

I would like to think Roach has a gameplan for the fight...Pac's right hand has improved through the years, if I were roach, I will take advantage of that and since PAC's left hand is already dangerous, I would use it as a jab to get to floyd faster.

So they could get rich off Pac supporters. Imagine the amount of money they're gonna bet - and lose - on Pacquiao. Of course I'm pissed that the odds are shitty on Floyd as I'd throw serious cash on him otherwise, but them odds are just fine.

because pac is a naturally smaller man than floyd. if pac is a natural at this weight, we could probably see more people picking him. many has this opinion including rjj.

Floyd is the bigger man. He enjoys advantages in reach, height and weight over Pacquiao. He has the better defensive skills.

The last time Pacquiao was an underdog (at the bookies) when he fought the giant DelaHoya. Pacquiao was 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 underdog in that fight. Just forget what the result of that fight was.

    saved me alot of trouble:good

anyways the TS is a clown, look at the other threads he created, all about who deserves more money and ppv numbers.

reading his post history you would think he's posting at the bloomberg message board and not eastside boxing.

because mayweather is better h2h but pacquiao has better resume...

skills don't mean much if you're not gonna use it to the fullest.

...same reason why a lot of great fighters are ahead of roy jones jr. when it comes to atg rankings when most will agree that h2h roy will beat most of them p4p-h2h

Pacquiao started out as the favorite when he beat Cotto. However, several very large bets were placed on Mayweather very shortly afterwards. The bookies need to have even money bet on both fighters. If Pacquiao is the favorite, too much money will be laid on Mayweather and the bookies expose themselves to big losses.

No why is betting public picking Mayweather here? For starters, he's been fighting for over 13 years and still doesn't have a loss in 41 bouts. Not only has he not lost, but most of his fights haven't been close. It's hard to bet against that type of track record. Furthermore, gamblers saw Pacquiao struggle twice with Marquez. They know Mayweather can present Pacquiao with similar problems, and they also know that Mayweather is a much better fighter than Marquez.
