Definition doesn't always make you immune to body shots. Margarito looked ripped as hell before the Pacquiao fight, and Pacquiao almost took him out with a body shot in the 4th round. Later in the fight, Pacquiao himself was hurt by a Margarito body shot (even though Pac himself is chiseled.)

That said, Pac's probably better off targeting Bradley's enormous head rather than his body. Bradley doesn't have an iron jaw. It's decent, but I doubt he can withstand too many clean shots from Pacquiao. If Pacquiao were to lean in and attack the body, a Bradley headbutt of death would gash Pacquiao open. So Pacquiao should stick to attacking the head.

As for the question, Pacquiao is the draw and the star. Bradley's a good fighter with a vanilla personality and zero marketability. People are paying to see Pacquiao vs. ??? every time he's on PPV. He'll always be the overwhelming draw in all of his fights until he fights Floyd. Then people will be paying to see both Pacquiao and Floyd. People aren't paying to see Timothy Bradley. They're paying to see Pacquiao. That, and Pacquiao and Bradley are both under Top Rank. That's why Pacquiao gets to dictate the terms he wants. He's the draw, Bradley isn't.

Every big draw in history, when fighting a lesser draw, gets to have the things that are important to them in the negotiations. What that is varies situation to situation, but Pacquiao is the draw. Bradley moving up to fight Pacquiao is no different than Hatton moving up to fight Mayweather. Mayweather was the superior draw, same as Pacquiao is. That's why they get to dictate the terms for their opponents. It's also probably the same reason Pacquiao and Mayweather haven't fought each other yet. Since both are megastars, both probably feel they shouldn't have to meet in the middle. They're probably waiting for one to lose position so badly they'll have to give in more.

Um, Bradley never won a title at 147. He beat Abregu, far from even the lowered standards of "titlist level."

Pacquiao is not as good as every one thinks, sure he's won fights, moved up in weight and won titles, but since his rise into the welter weight division he's been weight draining some fighters who could give him a problem and fighting those (Clottey) at the legitimate weight because he knew he had the advantage of beating them. In other words he always have to have the upper hand with anyone he's fighting. Which is why he will never fight Mayweather because neither Arum or Pac will have the upper hand in that fight.

If Mayweather gets flack for "dragging" Hatton up, Pac should be criticized for the crime he is commiting against Bradly. :bart

This basically. Props for what he did in his career such as beating Solis, Sasakul, and Barrera x2 but lately he's been a cherrypicker. Even with Marquez why do you think they wait 4 years in between facing Marquez? Waiting for him for decline. Same with Floyd. He can deny a career high payday with Floyd and says he doesn't want to face Martinez because, "I don't wanna get hurt again? Open ur eyes people! Guys talented but veryx10, overrated these past few years.

Hatton still won a belt at 147 albeit controversially but still held a belt at 147 before facing Floyd. Bradley fought Abregu in a non-title fight so people shouldn't compare the situations. Even if it was for a belt, Collazo>>>>>>>>>Abregu.
