Sat, 02 May 2009 10:00 PM This game is circled. 9801 Ricky Hatton NA NA +170 Manny Pacquiao NA NA -230 If Ricky is supposed to be a "monster" at 140, the powerful and bigger man, which some people claim, why isn't he the favorite?
Power and size don't mean everything. Hatton may have the advantage in brute strength but who's to say that he's actually the harder puncher? There are so many elements involved in this matchup. Speed can overcome size and Pacman has that. Better boxing skills, pacman has that too, so why shouldn't he be the favorite? For me personally, I want pacman to win because that's much better for boxing. He's exciting for one thing and is never in a dull hugfest like hatton. He's an exciting Asian fighter so it's not a hard decision for me. I simply like him better. Pacman all the way. Hatton= john Ruiz
Stop it! you sound like a ******* already! I want pac to win so that we can see him against floyd... i don't wanna see hatton-floyd rematch. :tired Even if i'm a pac fan i don't really care if pac loses to floyd as long as i can see both fighters in the ring. It would be good for boxing.
What fix? The fight isn't going to be held in England with that same ref from the Tszyu fight. Remember that ref who was on Warren's secret payroll? There aint going to be no ref getting paid under the table this time so let's see how Hatton handles himself in a fair fight against the #1 PFP fighter.

The point is why would they favor Pac instead of Ricky, isn't it that Ricky is supposed to be the man at 140?
Why would he need to hold to get by the overrated Malignaggi? That assclowns entire reputation was made by taking his ass kicking "like a man" against Miguel Cotto. atsch Hatton can beat "B" level guys by fighting clean but he needs to use his MMA style + dirty/stupid refs against top tier or else he gets his head bounced off the turnbuckle.
Because the bookies aren't forum gurus. Also if you forgot what happened to DLH recently, who has the HUGE favorite, others didn't forget. :smoke
