From a long time Pacquiao observer, and one of the most pessimistic "*******s" in the forum, I see the Pac-Hatton fight as having 50/50 odds.
it's a lot closer than those odds make out, moseley was +500 against margo i think and look what happened there
I said he's the man coz he is the No.1 at LWW . Even if Pbf returns at 140, he will also be the favorite like Pacman. So the point is why is it so?
Yes, my point exactly. Just because he's the man at 140 doesn't mean he's the fav in any matchup made at 140!
Is it fair to say then that it is an indication of how weak the division is? Or is it simply a case, where Hatton's opponents are simply better than him?
No. Because its not like you're putting up the best man of the division against just some random guy off the streets. We're talking about PBF here. And even if we're talking about Pac, Pac isn't just some bum off the streets, he's a real good fighter.
Exactly. I am right. If PBF, a guy who isn't even ranked at 147, came out of retirement to fight Mosley, just because PBF will be the fav as far as bookies go, does that mean that the WW division is weak?
those odds are American odds and they will favor Pac because he is with golden boy, European bookmakers will probablly have the fight 50/50 its impossible to call. Pac will have to out box Hatton because he is much smaller than him.
