Why is Pacman vs Marg on Sky Sports and not Sky Box Office

I think I'll probably pay for the Haye Harrison fight, or at least split it with mates, then head home and watch Pac - Marg.

Just a guess but I ( And I assume many others are similar ) will watch the Haye fight up the pub ? It costs the Pub alot more to buy the PPV than a household ( I assume Sky makes alot more money from Pubs e.t.c than Households with PPV's ) and as the Pac fight is on in the early hours of the morning and there is no Brit involved Sky know that Brewery's wont pay for it ???:think

 

2 reasons:

Firstly, hardly anyone would pay for it given that both fighters are not well known to casual fans and it wont start till 4am. Second, they want as many people as possible to become aware of Pac and the possiblity of the Pac/Mayweather fight as the biggest and most important of the last 20 years. That way they can put that fight on PPV if and when it happens.

 

No moaning. We're just curious about why they are not putting it on the PPV.

 

Think it's already been mentioned but is it not because if it was part of the ppv then they would be entitled to a share of it which could lead it too being more expensive for sky?

Also don't really think sky need to build pac up I imagine he's well enough known over here from the hatton fight.
