He just suffered one of the most brutal KO's in recent memory. We've got to lower our standards dramatically. Pacquiao is no longer one of the absolute very best fighters in the world. Although, I don't think Rios is all that much of a step down from some of his opposition post-Cotto. Well, it is, but all of the things about it such as coming off a loss, coming up a division, etc. are on par with Pac's WW resume.
Pretty lame thread. Thought you kids might have got over this now. Pacquiao got iced in his last fight in the kind of way the can, at worst, end your career, or at least take away something you'll never get back. He's now being matched against a guy who he can possibly look good against, regain some confidence and find out if he's got much left. And that's coming from someone who's not even really a Pac fan.
:deal *******s will try to justify it by saying it will be exciting. It will only be exciting because Rios is a human punching bag, with no skill, that throws punches for the sake of it.
Are you ******ed or something? It's about time he's facing a easy opponent. He's argubly comming of 3 losses in a row. It's time to change that streak and have a CLEAR win.
Oh, it's one of those threads. Have fun having the same arguments you've been having with the same posters for 6 years now. I'm outta here.
Can someone mention an alternative name he should have fought considering Bradley and Marquez turned him down and Alvarado is out for pretty much the whole year after surgery?
