Why is Pacquiao willing to fight Loma instead of Crawford?

    I ask again...

What size advantage has Pacquiao enjoyed over his opponents?

I guess my response was too long, so I’ll make it easy for you. Are you telling me that you couldn’t do better than Al with $400M and a boatload of TV dates?

That literally has nothing to do with anything here. And Roidquez wasn't the same size as Pac. He was far more muscular, with a bigger upper body, arms, chest, and shoulders.

I ask again... What size advantage did Pac hold over Cotto/Algieri/Margarito?

Nah nothing wrong with your response, do you mean could I do better in terms of making better fights for the fans? Or do you mean could I make more money for the fighters and myself?

If it’s for the fans then definitely I could conceive of much better match ups using the fighters from haymons stable but if the fighter and my own pocket what Haymon done was great for each one of them.

Muscle doesnt mean anything, can you prove Marquez was on drugs and Pacquiao wasn’t? If I remember correctly Pacquiao only signed up once Marquez put him to sleep.

On fight he had no advantage but on the weigh in he had advantage over cotto and Margarito.

Did Pacquiao beat Cotto and Margarito with his size? Yes or no?

No he didn’t beat them with size, I don’t use size an excuse they signed the contract but if I wanted to like you are for Mannys losses then I could say pac drained them.

With the $400M and a boatload of TV dates, I’m sure I could accomplish all 3: good fights for the fans, more money for the fighters, and more money for myself.

If you make good fights, the fans will watch. New fans will emerge, think back to the rise of Tyson as an example. Once the fans start buzzing, the advertisers will follow. Once the advertisers show up, more investors come forward. Once the networks see a profitable business model, they give up more time slots and maybe even increase the duration of the timeslot from 2 to 3+ hours.

It all starts with the fights being good. You also have to stack the card. If you’re not top of the ladder, you may fight off TV, but at least you will do so in support of a big event, hopefully in front of a lot of fans.

Haymon has done a terrible job no matter how you look at it. 30 years from now, Carlos Ortiz will still be an ATG. Meanwhile, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Adrien Broner will be as forgotten as Ike Quartey, Juan Laporte, and Maromero Páez.

So do you think these guys would be ATGs if they were with Oscar, Bob or Hearns?

Lool do you see anyone like mike Tyson in Haymons stable? Do you understand that boxing is a niche sport now?

Canelo is one of the sports biggest names and outside of America and Latin countries surrounding it, casuals do not know who he is.

This discussion is not about Oscar, Bob or HEARN, not Hearns.

Again, with $400M, a huge stable of fighters and a boatload of TV dates, Al has done a TERRIBLE job.

I understand boxing is a niche sport, but it doesn’t need to be. The promoters and the sanctioning bodies have driven fans away. Haymon squandered his opportunity to bring them back.

Here’s a non-rhetorical question for you. You’re at a 4-way intersection and see the following events taking place: Lebron playing one-on-one against Steph Curry; Tom Brady throwing passes to Antonio Brown; Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge hitting baseballs; and Wilder fighting Joshua, which way would you go? I’d venture to guess that everyone else,
(Lebron, Curry, Brady, Brown, Stanton, Judge) would stop what they’re doing to watch the fight.

I think Haymon achieved what he probably wanted with the PBC, we’re looking at it from perspective and he’s not. He doesn’t give a **** what you or I think, if the fighters don’t want to be in competitive fights he won’t force them. You’re blaming Haymon when you should be blaming the fighters like Garcia, Lara Quilin, Santa Cruz etc who won’t take on dangerous guys for the most part when they can cherry pick.

Don’t know why you venture to guess that but okay.

Haymon is the root cause of the problem. Fighters don’t become fighters without the belief that they can beat everyone in/around their weight class. Haymon has done a TERRIBLE job. Nothing you say will change my opinion.

I’ve enjoyed talking to you Sam Watson.

Lool it seems you dislike Haymon, personally I don’t know what to think of Haymon he’s model has flaws for sure especially from a fans perspective but I think people have demonised him without really knowing anything about him. It’s hard for me to tell you he is the root of the problem when the guy doesn’t even give interviews ever.

It was a good discussion you gave me some things to consider bro.
