The signs have been there for years but Parris still gets to referee a fight.

Last night was the tip of it for me. I knew the guy was bad but when you are a big fan of a fighter and that **** happens you see things a bit clearer.

He hates Danny Williams which is another thing i didn't like him for.

Any other contributions of his referee **** ups are welcome i'm sure there are plenty :good

Khan V Barerra. He made sure the fight went long enough to be ruled a no contest despite the fact that Barerra had a huge gash to the forehead.

He is dire and should NEVER be allowed to oversee another fight, in fact if I were Martin Rogan I would make an official complaint to the British Boxing Board of Control. That fight was a joke from start to finish.

I have no idea. It can only because he's allegedly in a certain promoters pocket.

I agree with the MAB v Khan fight... wasn't there going to be a challenge about that decision after another fight ended in a similar fashion and then the decision was over turned??? MAB only really caught Khan once but it shook him up....I would love to see this fight again... What respect that MAB had from the British fight fans......:bbb:bbb

As far as I'm concerned that fight was a no contest. Making a legend like Barrera fight with a ridiculous cut like that until the fifth round just so Khan could 'win' was such a terrible thing to do. What's worse was Khan's reaction afterwards - it looked like he'd won the lottery. In reality he'd been fighting a well past his prime fighter from the lower weight classes who couldn't see out of one eye. I think he was just happy he wasn't KOed again to be honest.

I hate Dave Parris with a passion BUT the way he conducted himself during the Barrera/Khan scrap was ok. During the inter round period the doctor is in attendance and at any time he could have stopped the fight...he obviously thought the injury was OK and the fight was OK to continue. Alternatively Barrera could have complained to the doc that he couldn't see and it would have been over, no contest...he didn't (please don't give me the Barrera is a warrior and wouldn't want to quit bull**** because if that was the case he wouldn't have been squeeling like the ***** he is post fight.). I'm still at a loss to understand where the complaints come from as regards Fridays fight...Rogans eye was completely closed and he was right to be stopped...whats the problem??

The fight should have been stopped for the eye but before that it should have been stopped once sexton turned his back (at least a point off) instead he gives rogan a lecture on hitting behind the head.

Then Sexton spits the gum shield out (another point off at least). Rogan waits for it to be put back in doesn't happen (rogans fault really). He gave Rogan more time than he should have with the eye it was completely gone although i won't argue with that :yep

Parris is ****in fat corrupt ****. He made a complete bollocks of the Rogan-Sexton fight. The Khan-Barrera fight was also a joke, the guy couldnt see, and wasnt it for a head clash, anyway. Barrera could very well have got Khan had his eye not got so ****ed up. A very hollow victory for Khan who will get found out again in his title tilt. Hyped up shite.

Parris has been a complete and utter wanker in every fight I've seen him.

This stretches from the days he was routinely affording Hatton great leniancy, even being seen to "wink" and "signal" when to break up clinches.

The Khan effort where he conveniently managed to let the fight go just long enough for Khan to "win" a TD, even though the cut never got worse throughout the bout and was an obvious stoppage from the moment it opened.

In the Williams-McDermott fight he was on Williams ass about nothing. I get the feeling he loves being the centre of attention.

He continued the same form in Rogan-Sexton warning Rogan for **** all. Telling him not to punch a guy in the back of the head when the guy other turns around, giving him crucial time to recover.

We can see you anyway Dave ya fat ****, stop making ridiculous decisions and if you are going to be picky at least apply it consistently :-(

    Despicable ref.
