Why is Paulie so popular?

I guess, he sells his fights well..... and he does have heart.

huh? all along i thought he was hated for his trash talking.

he's been called girlie hair girlie hand powder puff puncher for years is what i'm aware of.

 

Malignaggi has grown some on me. He has heart, is honest in his assesments, and will fight anyone. I don't always enjoy him in the ring and his trash talking can make him less likeable, but overall I'm a minor fan of the guy.

 

I like Paulie cause he tells it like it is.

 

He'll fight anybody, anytime, any place. If you told Paulie, "We've got a grizzly bear that can make 140," Paulie would say, "Glove him up!"

I respect him because he's tough and has a lot of heart. But he's not generally well liked, evidenced by this picture.

I dont think he's fit for boxing,he does not even try to hit hard or use power punches,and for his style he's not very good defensivley and he gets hit a lot,he cant protect himself like Mayweather,Whitaker,Camacho,Wright and he does not hit like any of them. I can really see him getting hurt in the ring he really cant defend himself,i like him as a person,and i would'nt want to him get hurt and he looks to be slowing down,i hope he retires.

 

i always thought he was pretty disliked.. Probably the diaz robbery made him more popular..

I like him since the Cotto fight, he showed such heart there and boxing ability.. After that he looked really impressive against Ndou..

But after that he pretty much stunked out the joint, except for the Diaz´ fights. But outside the ring he has always been a class act and like many said before he fights anybody and tells anybody how it is..

I hope he gets a final fight against Judah.. Fight should ve been made long time ago.. And i hope he has made enough money to retire happily

 

Yes i hope gets out in good health with enough money for himself,im quite amazed that he made it to this level of boxing with all his short comings,to me he has nothing else to prove,its time to go when your the boxer and you get outboxed and busted up,much respect for him he has a heart the size of Jupiter.
