Meldrick Taylor was a give-and-take fighter who took plenty of beatings in the ring, in addition to probably having numerous Philly gym wars.

Muhammad Ali took a lot of punishment in numerous fights throughout his career.

We'll see about Roy Jones, I have a bad feeling how he will end up.

Dose Whitaker have bad hands these days too. His hands are the only thing he could have hurt against Chavez. From when Chavez hit Whitaker's hands with his face.

Those guys spent most of their careers dominating their opponent without taking many punches, until they finally did...

Taylor was never a defensive whiz. He took plenty of punishment in the ring, and most likely the gym, before he started showing real signs of brain damage and speech deteoriation.

Ali likewise had numerous tough fights. Plus he was known at times to get his ass kicked in sparring because he wasn't necessarily trying to get the better of his sparring partner, he was instead focusing on improving his weaknesses.

Every person is different and some fighters just get brain damaged easier than others.
