Povs is slated to fight Javier Mora, the guy that lost to Johnathon Banks on the Vitali-Arreola undercard.

    WTF

Maybe beating Chambers will be his career high score?

I think thats the guy that got mauled by Sultan Ibragimov with a triple right uppercut a few years back. It was on youtube anyway

I don't mind seeing Povetkin avoid Wladimir for a couple of years, its a smart strategy, but he should probably be fighting a top 20 guy at least

that is the only reason really, but i just feel like he needs to prove himself again to get a title shot after bagging the first fight

Because Teddy Atlas needs to build him with new, refined techniques.

I bet Povetkin is going after Vitali instead of Wladimir, stylistically that's the best fight for him, if he can't get Haye obviously.

He was rumoured to be fighting Guinn as well. He has lost so much momentum of late.

i think the better question is, what the hell is the big deal about povetkin?? he's the most basic looking fighter ive ever seen and all he's faced were blown up, light hitting cruiserweights. my god put this guy in with someone who can bang (tua) and lets see if hes legit.

Povetkin is obviously mentally broken. Ever since he fought Chambers he's not the "same". Something is wrong inside his head and neither Atlas nor anybody else was able to screw it back on the right way.

    Talk about lack of confidence.

I remember that fight, it's a good one. I doubt Povetkin can take him out quicker, especially considering he seemed to take it easy during the first rounds in his last match. I think he tried to get rounds.

i remember when he fought chambers he had no defence at all. a hard hitter like a klit or even arreola would have a field day
