Why is Povetkin taking another step backwards?

    chambers took'em to the limit!hell 'if chambers hadnt backed off the gas midways..he woulda won a decision over povetkin.

    Guinn was a respectable opponent but Mora is a disappointment for sure. I understand he wants to protect his shot with Wlad and get some rounds in with Atlas in his corner but Mora is a weak opponent for Povetkin. Actually, Guinn would have given him rounds and was a relatively safe opponent but atleast he has a name and is still bettter than Mora.

    Winning that four man tournament he won a couple years back was a mixed blessing. On one hand he picked up two nice wins, got some hype behind him,and landed a shot against Wlad. But on the other hand, he probably got his shot with Wlad too soon and he has really taken a step back in competition since then, presumably to protect his shot. Anyways, Mora is a disapponting opponent for Povetkin.

    Chambers exposed some of Povetkin flaws despite losing, and Chambers would of won if he came in shape.
