I think Rau'shee Warren will make an excellent pro. He has participated in two Olympics and has been a top amateur for some years now. He is 23 years old and is not turning pro so he can make a third Olympic appearance. This guy is like a Pernell Whitaker/Floyd Mayweather Jr. hybrid. I just can't understand the point in wasting prime years to pursue a goal that is so uncertain. The Olympic scoring system is flawed and in my opinion, bias against American fighters. This guy could be America's future in the 122 and 126 pound weight classes and it just baffles me that he would put off pro fame and fourtune to chase an Olympic medal. If he turns pro after the 2012 Olympics he will be close to 26 years old.
beats me man, has the potential to be the most exciting American bantamweight EVER. He reminds me of a miniature southpaw version of RJJ. I think I heard reports he might be looking to debut sometime last year after the nationals, but nothing has materialized since....if he waits till 2012 he'd be 25-26 years old, I think he needs to forget about amateur boxing entirely, it hasn't done much for him in terms of publicity and a gold medal wouldn't change that imo
.......:rofl BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH :rofl [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyTe6bECmCM[/ame] Mr. Warren has been busy doing the "Mr. Miyagi"
That dude has a bigger entourage then most pros. I feel sorry who ever fights that guy in the amatuers, coming out with rappers and his entourage to a golden gloves tournament.
