Roid Jones Jr is the 2nd most overrated fighter ever after Mike Tyson. Glass jawed Ped cheat who feasted on bums and got knocked out by Tarver and Johnson who were just regular good fighters, nothing special at all.

Of course PEDs don't give you skill. These guys already have the skill. But PEDs certainly help IN EVERY PHYSICAL ASPECT. Speed, endurance, strength, power, etc. You sound like one of those people who say "Bonds was a HoF without steroids". Yeah....and he was even better with them.

 

What's absurd about stating peds don't turn you into Roy Jones jr a generational talent? It's reasonable to assume many of their contemporaries were also on peds yet there was still only 1 Roy Jones and one Barry bonds. Try forming an argument without jumping immediately into attack mode

No. Too good? He lost NINE times! and got knocked out 5 times. He wasn't exactly invincible was he !

Everyone knows RJJ had insane amounts of skill. Possibly the most skilled ever. But PEDs helped that. I agree that many of his opponents were juiced, but you cannot say all of them were. Roy got caught. Plain and simple.

 

I agree People like Floyd, Jones jr , Holyfield, Mosely etc all we caught blatantly cheating. What happened to them ?? They got let off of all charges. Canelo got popped for clenbuterol, got let off lightly because it was supposedly only a trace While Antonio Margarito got banned for over 2 years, had his good name & career tarnished yet all they could say for sure he did wrong was to SWEAT !! Plus the whole shebang was based on a POS's blatant lie. If youre a so called US superstar you get " looked after" the others get thrown to the wolves
