Because he is scared shitless. As long as they keep paying him to fight bums, I think that is where he stays.
TBF......Murray aint a can and Sergio did just fight #3 in his last bout. The #2(Sergio) ducking the #1(Golovkin) is not all that rare nowadays, or ever for that matter.:think
And what exactly has Golovkin done to be ranked #1??? Martinez last 5 fights JCC Jnr Macklin Barker Dzinziruk Williams Combined record at the time of 175-4-1 Golovkins last 5 fights Rosado Proksa Fuchigami Simon Ouma Combined record of 118-22-3 In their next fights, Matinez is fighting who has a record of 25-0-1 Golovkins is fighting a guy who isnt even a real MW and has a record of 24-8-2
Don't use facts against these Golovtards. They don't have a brain between them. They still believe that Golovkin wants to fight anyone from 154 to 168. I guess he forgot to add "As long as they come to middleweight". Funny how his mangement ended negotiations with Thomas Oosthuizen camp when he said he wasn't going to fight at a catchweight of 164 despite GGG telling his ****** fans he will fight anyone at any weight. Is that a duck? Golovkin fans are a embarressment to boxing fans every where. (Understandable seeing as a good three quarters of them were Lucian Bute bandwagon fans)
It's obvious why he doesn't want to fight Golovkin - Martinez doesn't want his shaky whiskers exposed again. :nod
Fair enough taking an easy fight to test the waters again after his surgery, but it's been made clear before that his team have no interest in fighting golovkin. He's at the stage in his career where he just wants to cash out with low risk, high reward fights, good for his bank balance but bad for us boxing fans.
I feel its too early for GGG to call out Sergio and demand big purse. Murray ain't bad for Sergio as an easier defense. In the mean time if GGG beat someone at the same as Murray level this will increase his position and the fight with Martinez could be a real seller.
I get the hype about GGG a little bit, he punches with power in both hands and can cut off the ring but he doesn't move his head, feet or just defend well in general GGG is almost like a slightly better version of JCCjr
Hehe... Martinez fans have really become delusional since the Williams KO. All of a sudden, at age 35, Martinez becomes a one-punch knockout artist extraordinaire. In reality, he probably doesn't hit harder than Proksa.
Knocking Dzinziruk 5 times? Somehow,I dont see Martinez going 12 rounds with Kerry Hope. Martinez hits plenty hard...harder than anyone GGG has faced, thats for sure.
