How do you figure he has a better resume??? how many 10 tens has Spence fought vs how many GGG has fought. I admit GGG does not have an elite resume but there are very few active fighters who have fought and beaten more 10 tens than him. Stevens, Geale, Rubio, Lemieaux, Murry, Rasasdo and Proksa were all top tens and not one of them lasted the distance . This is more than Canelo, Kovalev, Gonzalez, Grawford, Bradley, Estrada, Rigondeaux, Ward, Brook, Porter, Thurman, Garcia, Abraham, Stevenson, Fury ect..........

So-called "10s" in the current weak-as-English beer MW division don't amount to a hill of beans.
    A top 10 in today's MW division would be a top 30 in yesterday's.
Chris Algieri beats anyone on Golovkin's weak resume.

Spence lost comfortably whenever he fought elite guys in the amateurs yet the current narrative is that he will somehow remedy this alarming trend in the pros. Granted in the pros he will be the house fighter and weight bully with every intrinsic advantage afforded him.

This is a PROFESSIONAL boxing site. Amateur is for amateurs.
I think you are confusing boxing for the Klan's number 1 spectator sport, NASCAR. They ain't the same.

If you really believe that, boxing isn't for you, find another sport.

And if you don't everyone should just put you on ignore, because you're a terrible troll.

If Rosado and Stevens were in the top 10 at MW, that just shows you how BAD the MW division is. Rosado, a journeyman JMW fighter beat absolutely no one of note before fighting Golovkin, his best win being a journeyman 147 pounder in Soto Karass. Other than that, the other thing he's known for is getting rag dolled by Alfredo Angulo, 4 months after getting outboxed by Kermit the Leapfrog Cintron.

Now let's review Curtis Stevens case.

Curtis Stevens was a journeyman turning contender BEFORE being outboxed by the crude Jesse Brinkley. Curtis was the betting favorite, yet had NEVER gone passed 10 rounds before. After this schooling, he took a 26 month sabbatical from the sport of boxing. After knocking out 3 bums in the first round and scoring a decision against another one, he called out GGG on twitter saying he'll "body" GGG. Again, if these men were top 10 ranked contenders, the MW division is an even BIGGER joke than people thought.

Actually, Rosado was a top10 ranked jr. MW. He never made it to top10 at MW.

Golovkin ain't moving up to jack!
He will sit in the midst of the weak MW division and keep facing bum after bum trying to break BHOP's defence record.
Occasionally, he'll stick his head out to beg Canelo for undeserved money.
By the time he achieves that, he'll be 39 years old and faced so many bums, he'll become what he ate.

I didn't say he'll move Up, I said he's expected to move up to a wealer division.

And you're right about him not deserving a shot at Canelo. He should rematch Ishida and get KOd by him to earn it.

This post doesn't make sense and I'm not sure what it has to do with anything.

Since losing to Derek Ennis at MW back in July 2010, Gabriel Rosado's next 7 fights were against tomato cans at JMW until he fought Golovkin in the beginning of 2013. This was the JMW ranking at the end of 2011...

    Title Vacant
    1. Miguel Angel Cotto
    2. Saul Alvarez
    3. Vanes Martirosyan
    4. Erislandy Lara
    5. Carlos Molina
    6. James Kirkland
    7. Alfredo Angulo
    8. Cornelius Bundrage
    9. Serhiy Dzinziruk
    10. Delvin Rodriguez
Again, where would you put Gabe Rosado?

    LOL!

I can't believe Kirkland was rated at #6.
