I think Antonio sees how perfectly average BHOP is skillswise, and is jealous that somehow BHOP seems to be invincible.

if he is average that would mean the klits are not even good enough to win 25 timjes in 100 amateur fights.

Maybe because that was Tarver's last defeat and he never got a rematch.

I think Tarver is just trying to promote a possible rematch. Even though his loss to Hopkins was big, Hopkins barely ever mentioned that win or made a big deal about it even though he should and could.

BHop isn't special? What are you guys talking about? The guy is beating up talented, young fighters entering their prime and he is 46! I don't think there is anyone - and I mean ANYONE - who is more game and savvy than BHop.

If I was asked a fighter, regardless of combat sport, who I would never count out of a fight, I would answer one guy: Bernard Hopkins.

That said, I think Dawson takes him. I'm not too interested in a Tarver rematch, though. I'd like to see Tarver take on Cunningham or go after Vitali at HW.

This. Also, Tarver didn't seem to be taking his career as seriously at that point. Hops has a legit case for not giving him a rematch, but things like Tarver talking **** could improve the odds. Not to mention as Antonio put it, it would be the honorable thing to do. And whoever says BHop is not special is a ******.

BHOP does nothing extraordinary, but he is average/above average in EVERY dept. He is the most well rounded fighter I've ever watched, and he has NO true weaknesses.

He is a legend, and ATG, and is INVINCIBLE on any given day.
