Steve Cunningham vs Wayne Braithwaite????? I figure a fight against to former champs one who's coming off a big win vs an undefeated prospect and is an exciting come foward KO puncher. And the other is one fight removed from being the #1 fighter in the division and was just in a great close fight is alot better then a prospect vs a relative unknown fringe contender.

    But hey thats just me.

They probably feel there's more leg room with DeMarco....and coming off a big win over Kid Diamond, Showtime and Shaw probably have plans for him.

That's my 2nd guess. My first is that they probably have nointerest in the CW division...but as know they showed Adamek vs Banks.

I'm intrigued by Antonio DeMarco. The way he delivers his straight left reminds me of how Alexis delivered his straight right. Much to early for those comparisons, he doesn't wow me with his overall package, but the dude can fight. I wish him luck.

I know why YOUUUUU choose him but the better and more important fight is clearly Braithwaite vs Cunningham.

That's how I feel. He's got skills no doubt but to but him vs a nobody on an undercard over two well known former champs is a little crazy to me.

DeMarco looks like the next big thing.

But indeed Cunningham and Braithwaite is a good fight.

Well boxing is a crazy sport. A lot of what happens in boxing doesn't make sense. Showtime's interest in the CW seems strangely fleeting from time to time. They were skipped on showcasing Adamek vs Cunningham or Adamek vs O'Neil Bell and outside of Enzo vs Haye, I can't think of a MAJOR CW fight they showed. If you wish to consider Banks vs Adamek as a major fight, I guess I can give it to ya. Haye vs Enzo a year and a half ago?

Mormeck vs Braithwaite, Mormeck vs Bell 1, Braithwaite vs Jones, they were gonna show Jones vs Cunningham before it was cancelled and those are just the ones I remember. They were also pushing Mormeck pretty hard even having a poll on there website on what his nickname should be.

Those were all a while ago though. They haven't had a SERIOUS CW title push since Haye vs Enzo Mac.

Showtime is the one that aired Braithwate/Mormeck and Braithwate/Jones.... Showtime usually airs meaningful Cruiserweight fights.....

HOWEVER...... Antonio DeMarco is a ShoBox alum..... Enough said...

I thought they would do a special triple header...
