    Quillin/Jacobs
    Lee/Saunders
    Cotto/Canelo
    Golovkin/Lemieux

I mean, you have the best guys in the division fighting each other. Quality fights and fighters here besides GGG/Lemieux though it was still a top 5 MW fighting another top 5 MW. Can someone help explain?

Because the haters can't see anyone that beats GGG basically, thus they are all bums :tired

Because the division has no personality to make it exciting. People like drama and theatrics. Connor McGregor, Adrien Broner, Prince Patel these guys haven't done anything but they have a lot of money and a big fan base. Entertainment is paramount.

So I guess Welterweight division is weak too? Since no one can beat Mayweather? Everyone's bums? I feel like that way of thinking can be said about a lot of divisions.

Because its a Eurocentric division and most of its fighters aren't seen too frequently on US TV, so in most Americans minds there's only a few good ones, which also happen to be the Americans, and the rest are trash, which is a completely ridiculous POV of the sport.

The other reason is GGG is the real king of it so they denigrate the division to make his accomplishment seem more insignificant.

The MW division is weak because we don't have a fighter with the "Money" or "Pretty Boy Floyd" persona?

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard:lol:

It's alright. Look at the Jr Middleweight division.

If Canelo moves up to middleweight that's a who's who of boring fighters with mundane personalities.

I'd say MW has one of- if not the most- exciting fighter in the sport at the moment (Yes, I'm referring to GGG).

Then you have other fighters like Lemieux, Lee, Canelo, Cotto. Come on, man...

Still don't understand this "move up". Canelo is a MW. He hasn't made the JMW limit in like what, 2 years??? Was it Floyd who was last?

When bums like Danni No Mas Geales & Sam Solibum are able to capture world title trinkets then the division is very weak.

Honestly, I think it is because people forgot some of those fighters existed.

They need to do what they are doing now, which is fight each other. The big names have to fight each other, they will both benefit from it. MW will suddenly look a lot more exciting.

Only 97k-150k would agree that GGG is exciting enough to pay for.
